The Junior Astronaut Summer Club offers educational courses in astronomy and space sciences taught by specialists and researchers from Kuwait. The club’s program is carefully designed to balance serious educational content with fun and enjoyment at the same time.

The program will run over 6 days as follows:

Monday, June 15, 2026 (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM):
- The Celestial Sphere
- Identifying constellations
- Using star charts

Wednesday, June 17, 2026 (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM):
- Space habitat Modules
- The role and daily routine of an astronaut

Friday, June 19, 2026 (Evening – exact time to be announced later):
- Stargazing trip to Al-Salmi Desert (transportation available)
- A desert mission simulating a mission on the Moon’s surface

Monday, June 22, 2026 (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM):
- The human body in space
- Suturing wounds in space

Wednesday, June 24, 2026 (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM):
- Designing a manned station on the Moon’s surface
- Choose your role in a space mission

Friday, June 26, 2026 (Evening – exact time to be announced later):
- Stargazing trip to Al-Salmi Desert (transportation available)
- A desert mission simulating a mission on the surface of Mars

Students will learn astronomy and scientific skills that will benefit them in the future. They will experience astronaut protocols firsthand and design concepts for space missions themselves through a very enjoyable desert experience simulating real missions on the Moon or Mars.

Target age group: 11 to 15 years old.
It is preferred that the student has a good command of English.

Program fee: 150 KD per student.

For students who cannot attend the full program, it is possible to attend one separate day or several individual days.
Fee for one day: 30 KD per student (excluding astronomical observation trips and space mission simulation activities — please send a private message for more information).
The club will be located at H Tower in Kuwait City.
Transportation to Al-Salmi Desert for Stargazing on Fridays will be arranged.

Join us for an unforgettable stargazing journey in the Salmi Desert.
Witness the beauty of the horizon in Kuwait’s desert beneath the stunning winter sky dome. We will observe stars and celestial objects using an astronomical telescope, with explanations of key astronomical phenomena led by a specialized astronomy researcher. Delicious meals will be provided.

The trip will take place in the Salmi Desert starting at 5:00 PM. You may leave at any time, as we will remain on site until late.

Please note that seating is limited, and children under 13 years old are not permitted. Kindly arrive in your own vehicles.

The event will take place on Friday, May 29.

Ticket price: 13 KD
Youth ticket (ages 13–17): 7 KD, provided a parent or guardian is present.

The ticket includes a delicious hot meal prepared especially for you by skilled chefs, in addition to beverages. Seats are limited.

Join the Basics of Astronomy course online on Tuesday 17 March 2026 from 8 PM to 11 PM Kuwait Time. You will learn the following:
1. Why astronomy and the link to modern economy
2. The constellations, daily and Annual movements of the stars.
3. The seasons and the appearant motion ofvthe sun.
4. Solar System Planets

If you want to learn about how to use sky maps, don't miss this course. Course fees 13 KD only. suitable for general audiance and age group above 16 years old.

The IV SRI World Congress is open for all major from humanities and arts to sciences, engineering and policy.
