ASCI Summer Club for minors (ages 13–16) delivered concepts, ideas, and skills related to space and astronomy in a fun and interactive way.
The students were introduced to concepts related to space philosophy, space medicine, and the construction of space habitats. Through a series of interactive lectures, they learned how to work as a crew and simulate an analog mission in the Salmi Desert.
Students selected their roles within the crew, and we virtually traveled to space for a few hours to repair a damaged telescope.
The students learned about teamwork and space terminology, and they gained an appreciation of how challenging it is to be part of a manned space mission.
قدم نادي ASCI الصيفي للناشئة (من عمر 13 إلى 16 عامًا) مفاهيم وأفكارًا ومهارات متعلقة بالفضاء وعلم الفلك بطريقة ممتعة وتفاعلية.
تعرّف الطلاب على بعض المفاهيم المتعلقة بفلسفة الفضاء، وطب الفضاء، وبناء المساكن الفضائية. ومن خلال مجموعة من المحاضرات التفاعلية، تعلموا كيفية العمل كطاقم واحد ومحاكاة مهمة فضائية تناظرية في صحراء السالمي.
اختار الطلاب أدوارهم ضمن الطاقم، ثم خضنا رحلة افتراضية إلى الفضاء لعدة ساعات بهدف إصلاح تلسكوب متضرر.
تعلم الطلاب أهمية العمل الجماعي ومصطلحات الفضاء، كما اكتسبوا تصورًا عن مدى صعوبة أن يكون الشخص جزءًا من مهمة فضائية مأهولة.
