Benefits of Sujood

1- Prostration (Sujood) increases the blood circulation because it is the only position in which the brain " or the head " becomes lower than the heart, as a result, the blood gushes towards the brain؛ which has a good effect upon memory, vision, hearing, concentration, and all other cognitive abilities.

2- Performing Sujood reduces back pain and increases joint elasticity, and it is a good exercise for the neck because it has to bear the load when the forehead touches the ground؛ for that, the neck muscles become stronger.

3- In this position, the whole body is in an active motion. The forehead is on the ground while the hands are placed at the sides, then the hands are stretched out in a manner that the forearm as well as the arm muscles bear the weight of the Sujood position.
