🔴REMINDER🔴 Bronze participants.. many of you have completed or will be completing your sections for skill, service and physical. Please continue to log these on the ORB. Award leaders will check and approve your activities as and when we get time. Please remember to include evidence and make sure your logs are grammatically correct! Deadline for all activities to be completed AND approved is Thursday March 14th. If you have any questions, see your award leader. Check the DofE notice board in C block!

Non-formal education focuses on developing the wider ‘soft’ skills – also known as ‘universal’ skills or ‘core’ skills which help young people ensure they are ready for the world.

When paired with a formal education, it provides a fantastic foundation for a young person to thrive.

Through the Award, young people can be empowered with not just the confidence but the desire to create meaningful change; to find their purpose, passion and place in the world.

It’s that time of year again! Good luck to all NES students with their mid-year examinations starting tomorrow! It’s your time to show your teachers just how amazing you all are! 👍🏼🏫📚📝✏️📖

When completing their expedition, students must walk with a purpose. Team Nävi chose to observe the local wildlife in the Nizwa mountains during their adventure. Dana Seyam (year 10) took some amazing photographs of wildlife including a beautiful hummingbird! When David from The Youth Development Agency conducted their debrief he said, ‘there’s definitely something in wildlife photography.
