I was supposed to be in Dublin today for the first Google Reference Schools Summit. While the current situation kept me home, the "FOMO" is real, but it’s also a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come..

A huge thank you to my amazing Italian friend Emanuele for sharing a photo from the Google Dublin office today; seeing it made me feel like I haven't missed the magic! 😊

Reflecting on our journey, it’s been nearly a year since I spearheaded the Google Summit at Kuwait English School. What started with our first Chromebooks in 2014 grew into an international event hosting 435 educators, principals, and EdTech leaders from 6 countries and the Ministry of Education supervisors.

Building an innovation culture meant:
❇️ Empowering our staff to become Google Certified.
❇️ Earning our status as a Google Reference School.
❇️ Bringing the region’s GEG Leaders together.

Missing Dublin today is disappointing, but looking back at these photos reminds me that the impact we’ve created here is a dream come true..

شكراً لصديقي Emanuele على مشاركتي أجواء المؤتمر من مكتب جوجل في دبلن؛ جعلتني أشعر وكأنني هناك! 😊

بالنظر إلى رحلتنا، مر عام تقريباً على تنظيمنا لمؤتمر جوجل في مدرسة الكويت الإنجليزية، والتي جمعت ٤٣٥ تربوياً وقائداً من ٦ دول ومسؤولي وزارة التربية.

بناء ثقافة الابتكار كان ثمرة:
❇️ تمكين المعلمين ليصبحوا معلمين معتمدين من جوجل.
❇️ اعتماد مدرستنا رسمياً كـ مدرسة مرجعية لجوجل.
❇️ جمع قادة مجموعة معلمي جوجل والمبدعين من أنحاء المنطقة.

رغم شعوري بخيبة الأمل لعدم التواجد في دبلن اليوم، إلا أن النظر إلى هذه الصور يذكرني بأن الأثر الذي صنعناه هنا هو "حلم أصبح حقيقة"..😊

Great LOFT this year at American Creativity Academy !

I had the pleasure of delivering an AI session to Sama Educational Company KSCC schools secretaries, focusing on automating tasks with Gemini by connecting Google Workspace apps and creating personal AI assistants with Gemini Gems to save time and boost productivity.

I was especially glad to meet again after our first meeting at the Google Summit hosted at Kuwait English School, and to have a quick yet fruitful AI conversation.. I truly enjoy hearing his insights and perspectives.

It was also wonderful catching up with amazing colleagues from different Sama schools. Always inspiring to learn and grow together. 🚀

Innovation thrives in a community!

Huge thanks to the Google for Education team Colin Marson, Mazen Abdallah, and Moussa Tawil for bringing together leaders from different schools in Kuwait for a fantastic lunch at Carino's today.

The goal was simple yet impactful: bring the community together to talk digital transformation and AI. It was about getting to know each other and finding new ways to collaborate for the benefit of our teachers and students.

Thanks to the Google team for being the bridge that brings us all together! Special Thank you for the invitation and for including myself and our Head of School in such a great lunch and inspiring discussion!
