Wanaasa English: كورس إنجليزي للأطفال

I have been getting so many messages inquiring about the course. I will try to answer all of them here in this post hopefully everyone will find the info they need.

1] Where is the course?
→ The classes are located in Kuwait, particularly in AlAhmady City.

2] Which ages do you accept?
→ The youngest registered child was a three year old boy, Hamza. However, the course is intended for children aged from 4 to 10 years old.

3] How much is the course?
→ This depends on the child's age & level of English. Also the number of registered classes

4] What do you teach?
→ The course mainly focuses on the fluency of English, sharpening the children's 4 main skills (Reading, Writing, Listening and, most importantly, Speaking), giving them the ability to use English to communicate whenever and wherever they need it. * The course does NOT teach school materials or textbooks.

NOTE: The course is stopped temporarily. When the classes resume, I will make an announcement post.

وصلتني رسائل عدّة فيها أسئلة واستفسارات عن الكورس، سأحاول أن أُجيب عنها هنا في هذا المنشور على أمل أن تجدوا المعلومات التي تحتاجونها إِنْ شَآءَ اللهُ

1] أين مكان الكورس؟
الكورس موجود في دولة الكويت ، تحديداً في محافظة الأحمدي

2] ما هي الأعمار التي تقبلونها؟
أصغر طفل تم تسجيله معنا كان صبي عمره ثلاث سنوات، حمزة. ولكن الكورس في الأصل موجّه للأطفال من عمر 4 الى 10 سنوات

3] كم سعر الكورس؟
هذا يترتب على عمر الطفل ومستواه الحالي في اللغة الانجليزية وكذلك عدد الحصص المسجلة

4] ما الذي يتم تدريسه؟
الكورس يركّز بشكل أساسي على الطلاقة في اللغة الانجليزية، عن طريق تقوية المهارات الأربعة الرئيسية (القراءة، الكتابة، الاستماع، وأهمهم: التحدّث)، واعطاء الاطفال القابلية لاستخدام اللغة الانجليزية في التواصل وقتما وأينما احتاجوها. *لا يتم تدريس أي مناهج أو كتب مدرسيّة في الكورس

* ملاحظة: الكورس متوقف مؤقتاً، عند استكمال الحصص، سيتم نشر اعلان بذلك على الصفحة بِإِذْنِ اللهِ

#2 The best way to teach your child a foreign language is the same way he is taught his First language: Listening. So let your child listen to spoken English on a daily basis, whether its through you (only if you have fluent English), a caregiver, a friend, or even through TV shows, Cartoons, Documentaries and News.

أفضل طريقة تعلّم بها طفلك لغة أجنبية هي نفس الطريقة التي يتعلم بها لغته الأُم: السماع. دع طفلك يستمع للغة الانجليزية بشكل يومي، سواء كان هذا عن طريقك (فقط إذا كنت تتمتع بطلاقة في اللغة الانجليزية)، أو الخادمة، أو صديق، أو حتى عن طريق برامج التلفزيون، الرسوم المتحركة، الوثائقيات، والاخبار.

Tips on teaching your child English at Home:

#1 : Encourage your child.
Don't criticize every mistake, but focus on the achievements. This is really important. Criticizing young kids who are trying really hard is very wrong and It's enough to make the kids want to stop learning!

نصائح حول تعليم طفلك الانجليزية في البيت:

#1 شجّع طفلك.
لا تنتقد كل خطأ ولكن ركّز على الانجازات. انتقاد الاطفال الذين يجتهدون ويحاولون هو خطأ كبير وسبب كافي لجعلهم يريدون التوقّف عن التعلّم!
