Hello Speakers~

To kick off this week with another fun series, let's go on an adventure with Roo to Triple Street located in Yeonsu-gu, Songdo!

Before we do, for those who don't know, Yeonsu-gu, Songdo is located in Incheon.

Songdo is a "smart city" (a city that focuses on environmental sustainability) that took 10 years to build from scratch and is still under construction. Songdo is home to 106 LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) buildings and uses a pneumatic waste disposal system (garbage is thrown into pipes that will suck the garbage underground) which is why it is a "smart city".
Along with Yeongjong Island and Cheong-na, Songdo is part of IFEZ (Incheon Free Economic Zone).

With that said, our first stop on our adventure series within Songdo is Triple Street. With four buildings all connected at the basement floor and a 3-floor concept (ground, under, and park street), Triple Street is described by KTO (Korea Tourism Organization) as, "a multicultural complex and a playground in the city for people of all ages to enjoy experiences, things to see, as well as feast on."

From various shops and restaurants to weekend busking and weekend flea markets, Triple Street has a lot to offer and is a must-visit during your travels to Korea, especially in Incheon.
