We have 4 sessions a year: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, that matches with its season’s name, with Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels. Each session consists in 10 weeks (200 hours) of study that covers Grammar, Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading, while still prepares you for the TOPIK Test (Korean Language Proficiency Test), everything in a relaxed environment and efficient method

. What is the method of study? Every day we have 2 hours of Grammar, 2 hours of Functional Studies (Speaking, Listening, Writing or Reading), and a list of the vocabulary words on the studied topics, along with homework to help you apply what you’ve learned. All of the classes are conducted in Korean, but even if you have no knowledge on the language, you can still apply to the program and we guarantee that you will learn. Can I get a scholarship? After you concluded one session, if you get 1st place in your class, you are rewarded with 150,000KRW, 2nd 100,000KRW and 3rd 80,000KRW. If you also have a perfect attendance rate, you are rewarded with 50,000KRW. The tuition for 1 session of study is of 1,250,000KRW (around $1,200). If you compare with other universities that offer the same method, at Sahmyook University you have a better option. What about the visa? Where can I live? We have a dormitory available for students that you can request for the period that you want to live, and the fees start with 821,000KRW (less than $800) for a 15 week period and 1 meal a day. Where can I eat? We have 3 cafeterias in our campus and many restaurants around the University. What can I find on campus? We have: Convenience Store, Bank, Library, Gym, Post Office, Swimming Pool, Sports Center, Bakery, Flower Shop, Museum and we have a free bus that takes you to the closest Subway Station. 학기는 1년 4학기제로 구성이 되어 있으며, 한 학기에 10주(200시간)로 구성되어져 있습니다.
교육과정은 1급에서 4급까지 구성이 되어있으며 한국어능력시험 3급을 통과하여 학부 또는 대학원 진학을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
학생들의 효과적이고 재미있는 수업진행을 위하여 다양한 수업교구들을 활용하고 있으며 특히 멀티미디어데스크를 활용하여 더욱 효과적인 수업이 진행이 되고 있습니다. 또한 매 학기마다 문화체험을 실시하고 있으며, 체육대회, 민속놀이, 한국음식만들기 등의 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있습니다.
