Her For Her®
Live fully. Lead with compassion. Because living well is a movement — and it starts with Her. In 2003, everything changed. Warmly,
Michelle Sharp
This is where purpose meets practice—where compassion, curiosity, and learning come together to redefine what it means to live well. My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and in an instant, life as I knew it shifted. The world paused—but I didn’t. Instead of collapsing under the weight of fear, I turned to something that had always grounded me: learning. I immersed myself in neuroscience, t
reatment options, and the intricate details of recovery. My mission was clear—help him heal, and in the process, learn how to care for myself, too. What began as a fight for survival became a deep exploration into the human experience. I uncovered how chronic stress can quietly fuel chronic illness, and how nutrition, mental health, and emotional resilience play powerful roles in healing. I saw firsthand how our minds and bodies communicate—how healing goes beyond medicine and must also include compassion, clarity, and connection. This awakening lit a fire in me. I began to ask: Who is caring for the caregivers? Time and again, I saw women—daughters, mothers, grandmothers, partners—holding up families, workplaces, and communities, often at the expense of their own well-being. I pursued a degree in Sociology and Women’s Studies to understand these patterns, then continued my education with Applied Compassion Training at Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education. And that’s when everything I’d learned came together. I developed Her For Her®—a live, science-based education program designed to empower women to reclaim their well-being, reconnect with themselves, and rise—stronger, wiser, and more fulfilled. Grounded in global research from the Quality of Life Research Unit at the University of Toronto, the Integrative Theory of Global Quality of Life (IQOL), and the social models of countries like Finland, Denmark, and Norway, Her For Her® is built on three core principles found across cultures and research:
Being, Becoming, and Belonging. These principles—along with the practice of Pro-Active Compassion—form the heart of my work.

Fully human women.
Not perfect.
Not performing.
Not shrinking to make everyone else comfortable.
What part of you did you shrink so everyone else could stay comfortable?

Garden update part 2 🌱
Leave any gardening advice or encouragement in the comments 🌱✨
This little garden has been teaching me so much about patience.
Not everything blooms right away. Some things need more time. More sunlight. More care. More learning. More trying again.
A few things didn’t make it… and honestly, I almost gave up 😂
But then something tiny starts blooming and reminds you: growth is still happening, even when you can’t fully see it yet.
Maybe we’re a little like gardens too.
Keep showing up. Keep nurturing yourself. Keep believing something beautiful can still grow here.

Garden update part 1 🌱
My garden has taught me a lot about growth 🌱
Mostly that you can research everything, buy the good soil, follow the directions… and things will still die 😂
But honestly?
Healing is kind of the same.
Sometimes it’s not failure.
Sometimes you just need:
more light,
less pressure,
better boundaries,
and a little more time.
Not everything blooms the first season.
Including people.

Pause. Breathe. Check in. ✨
In the middle of the busy, the scrolling, the doing, and the giving… don’t forget YOU. 💛
Take a moment today to ask yourself:
🌿 How am I really feeling?
🌿 What do I need right now?
🌿 What can I let go of?
Your mind deserves rest.
Your heart deserves care.
And you deserve a moment to simply be. 🤍
Drop a 🌞 in the comments if you’re choosing yourself today.

She remembered who she was… and everything changed.
Energy unmatched. Frequency protected. ✨
Romanticizing my life one reel at a time.
Grace, growth, and good lighting. 😉
Not everyone gets this version of me.

Gardening +workout = peace & happiness 😊

My workouts help me manage my ADHD- it's a tool my parents taught me in elementary school. It's the primary way I regulate my energy- trust me when I say- I have enough energy to light up a small town. Today was challenging- but I persevered and didn't give up on myself!

The crunch matters! Why? I lost my taste and smell several years ago- for me, eating became all about the experience- texture, color, variety, and enjoying meals with people I care about. I'm not sad or upset. What I have discovered about food is far more precious to me than the flavor or smell.

Why do I walk? For me, it’s all about nurturing my mental health. Walking outside grounds me, helps regulate the abundance of energy I have, and helps organize my thoughts. Walking is a daily ritual for me.
