💙 Yonsei Underwood Union (YUU) is having an Open House at Songdo Campus for all of you who are interested in debate! Even if you’re on the fence about joining YUU, you are more than welcome to attend :).

We’ll have:
- A brief presentation about YUU
- A show debate where you get to see what a debate looks like (Asian Parliamentary format this semester)
- A Q&A session

Skilled debaters and judges from Korea University’s Debate Club will also be present! This is a good opportunity to get to know more about the varsity debating scene, so make sure you don’t miss out.

🦅 Yonsei Underwood Union (YUU) is Yonsei University’s premier and only English varsity debating society. YUU is one of the most prestigious debating societies in Asia as champions and grand finalists of countless domestic and international tournaments, most recently becoming ESL Grand Finalists of the 2024 Australasian Debating Championships.

🦅 Sessions: TUE & THU 7:00-10:00 pm @ Sinchon Campus, Daewoo Annex Hall 2nd Floor

🦅 Join our society to become a part of a very tight-knit community within Yonsei and with societies from other universities (SNU, KU, SKKU, etc) as we socialize through afterparties, MTs, and workshops. YUU enables you to connect with an extensive alumni network (McKinsey, HSBC, SNU Law, etc.), organize competitions like the Cornell-Yonsei Invitational, and participate in various tournaments: KNC, NEADC, or WUDC. Applicants without any debating experience are valued and accepted as long as your commitment and desire to improve is evident.
