February was the month of goodbyes as we sent off our beloved Ellie and Uncle David in elementary 🥺😭 As much as we are going to miss them and as sad as we are that they are leaving, we can't wait to see what God has in store for the next chapter of their lives, and we know that they will continue to shine brightly for Jesus wherever they go! ✨️
Ellie, Uncle David, thank you for all the wonderful memories at GCFS and for leaving such a big impact on all of our lives. We will continue to pray for you and hope to see you both again soon! 💕

🐉Our elementary department celebrated Lunar New Year by dressing up in hanboks, learning how to bow, making ddakji, eating traditional snacks, and playing yutnori. We were so excited to be able to celebrate this important holiday together as a GCFS family 😊 We wish everyone a happy Lunar New Year! 새해 복 많이 받으세요! 💖

Happy 100th day of school!! 🥳 Our students are 100 days more loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self-controlled (?) We had a blast playing "100 seconds to win it" team games where they had to move dice using chopsticks, build the highest dice tower, and stick the most post-its on their faces! Congratulations GCFS elementary! You survived and thrived for 100 days! Here's to 100 more days of bearing much spiritual fruit! 💯

Highlights from VBS 2023 Twists & Turns 👾🎮🎲✨
Our elementary students had so much fun worshipping the Lord, listening to God’s Word, participating in game, crafts, and snack activities, and fellowshipping with each other the last 4 days!
We learned that through every twists and turns, our God is holy, trustworthy, forgiving, worth following, and that Jesus is for everyone!
We pray that everything they’ve learned during this VBS will be deeply rooted in their hearts for all the days to come! 🤗🎈

Happy Teachers Day! 👩🏻🏫👨🏻🏫💖
We are so grateful for all that you do inside and outside of the classrooms for our students.
You not only teach, but help, guide, listen to, learn from, laugh with, lend a shoulder to, pray with and for, and most importantly love our students to raise them into global Christian leaders. 🌏🙌🏼
Your hard work does not go unnoticed and we appreciate all that you do. 🤗
Thank you for being the backbone of our school. We love you! 🫶🏼

Did you know our Elementary department has Clubs every Friday? Our students get to choose from a variety of options ranging from board games, outdoors, to cooking to end their week on a high note! Recently, our Cooking Club made delicious pizzas and got to enjoy a taste of their own hard work. 🤩

Today, our Elementary students got to experience what the disciples must have felt when Jesus washed their feet. We pray and hope that as each of our students got their feet washed, they felt tremendously loved not only by their teachers but most importantly by Jesus.🦶🏽💖🙏🏼
