Last week, we recognised the International Day of Families, observed on 15 May.
Families come in many forms and can include those we live with, those who care for us, friends, pets, or anyone who plays an important role in our lives. As part of WorldWise Living, our Senior School students created handprint artwork to represent their own sense of family and community.
One of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, SDG 11, focuses on building safe, inclusive, and connected communities. Each artwork reflects a unique story, reminding us that there is no single way to define a family, and that every family is valued and celebrated.
The artworks are now displayed on 4F between the Senior School office and the Alleyn Theatre.

Our Student Council enjoyed an unforgettable afternoon of teamwork, creativity and adventure during their Enchanted Quest Adventure! Following a magical storytelling session led by Miss Goddard and Mr Harvey, students worked together to solve clues, complete exciting challenges and uncover hidden treasures across the College grounds.
From exploring the Fairy Garden to building LEGO swords and cracking secret codes hidden within the Enchanted Forest, the afternoon was filled with laughter, imagination and collaboration. After successfully completing nine magical challenges, students celebrated their adventure with a well-earned Crown Cupcake together.
Today, our College community came together in support of Mental Health Awareness Month through a meaningful fundraiser for Mental Health Korea. Staff and students wore green to raise awareness, support mental health advocacy, and contribute donations to the cause.
Organised by Ayin C in Year 8, the initiative was a wonderful example of student leadership and a reminder of the importance of empathy, kindness and open conversations around mental health. Stay tuned for more photos from the day.
Today, as Korea celebrated Teachers’ Day, Dulwich College Seoul also marked Staff Appreciation Day across the College. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the dedication, care and hard work of our teachers and staff who make such a positive difference in the lives of our students each day.
A heartfelt thank you to our Friends of Dulwich (FoD) and parent community for preparing a delicious breakfast buffet and for the many thoughtful gestures shared throughout the day. It was especially meaningful to see the heartfelt messages written by students for their teachers and staff.
Save the date! Founder’s Day 2026 is coming to Dulwich College Seoul on Saturday 30 May from 11am–4pm, with doors opening from 10.30am.
As part of our 15th Anniversary celebrations, join us on campus for a fun-filled day of live performances, food stalls, games, student activities, art, community celebrations and more.

Our Year 12 IB Chinese students recently stepped beyond the classroom and into a real Chinese restaurant as part of their food and dining culture unit.
From ordering dishes and making payments in Mandarin to exploring Chinese dining culture, students had the opportunity to use their language skills in a real-world setting. Before the visit, students also created their own Chinese menus using Chinese characters.
It was wonderful to see students building confidence and bringing their classroom learning to life through authentic experiences.
