Our Director of College Counselling, Ms. Clara Chung recently hosted the annual “Rising Grade 11 Parent Meeting” for the third consecutive year. The session provided valuable guidance for current 10th grade families to better understand how to support students as they embark on the next stage of their academic journey towards college.

Ms. Chung introduced key aspects of the college preparation process including academic planning, extracurricular activities, and summarised upcoming timelines. We remind students and families of the “Holistic Review” concept, which emphasizes that universities evaluate applicants based on a combination of academic performance, personal qualities, achievements, and overall potential.
The meeting provided valuable guidance for parents, helping them better understand how to support their students as they navigate this important stage of their academic journey.

APIS Sports Academy Golf Class has officially launched. ⛳️

Our Kindergarten to Grade 2 students celebrated the 100th Day of School with a fun-filled gallery walk showcasing collections of 100 items and a creative writing activity titled “If I were 100 years old, I would…”

Students also enjoyed reading 100 Days of School by Trudy Harris and …If You Lived 100 Years Ago by Ann McGovern, sparking thoughtful conversations about the past and present.

To top it off, students enjoyed special 100th Day–themed cupcakes. Thank you to our PTO for preparing the cupcakes and helping make the day even sweeter! 🧁

유치원부터 초등 2학년 학생들은 100일 등교 기념일(100th Day of School)을 맞아

100개의 물건을 모아 전시한 갤러리 워크와 “내가 100살이라면…”이라는 주제로 창의적인 글쓰기 활동을 진행하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

또한 《100 Days of School》과 《…If You Lived 100 Years Ago》를 함께 읽으며 과거와 현재의 삶을 비교해 보는 의미 있는 대화도 나누었습니다.

마지막으로 100일 기념 컵케이크로 하루를 더욱 달콤하게 마무리했습니다.
정성껏 컵케이크를 준비해 주시고 행사를 도와주신 PTO에 진심으로 감사드립니다! 🧁

White Out Day marked the grand finale of Spirit Week in the most magical way! Snow from the night before blanketed the campus and field, turning everything into a true winter wonderland. Dressed in white, students filled the snowy grounds with laughter, bright smiles, and unforgettable moments. It was the perfect ending to an amazing Spirit Week! ❄️

White Out Day는 Spirit Week의 마지막 날을 가장 아름답게 장식했습니다! 전날 내린 눈이 캠퍼스와 운동장을 하얗게 덮으며, 마치 겨울 동화 속 풍경처럼 변했어요. 흰색 옷을 입은 학생들이 눈 덮인 공간에서 웃음과 미소로 가득한 시간을 보냈으며, Spirit Week를 완벽하게 마무리하는 순간이 되었습니다! ❄️

Twin Day brought double the fun, double the laughter, and double the memories to Spirit Week! From perfectly coordinated twins to casually similar styles, it was so fun to see how everyone expressed their bond and school spirit in their own unique way all day long!

Twin Day는 Spirit Week에 두 배의 즐거움과 웃음, 그리고 추억을 더해 주었습니다! 완벽하게 맞춘 쌍둥이 코디부터 자연스럽게 비슷한 분위기의 스타일링까지, 모두가 각자의 방식으로 유대감과 학교 정신을 보여준 즐거운 하루였습니다! ✨

Wednesday’s Spirit Week was packed with fun across all divisions! Our ES students absolutely rocked Wild Hair Day. We saw colorful colors, playful accessories, and even food in their hair!MS showed off their spirit with Sports Day, repping their favorite teams and sports with jerseys and athletic outfits. Meanwhile, HS had so much fun with Teacher-Student Swap Day. Students came dressed like teachers, and some teachers jumped in by copying students looks!

수요일 Spirit Week도 각 학년에서 다양한 재미와 창의력을 선보였습니다.
초등학생들은 Wild Hair Day를 맞아 형형색색의 독특하고 기발한 헤어스타일로 등교했습니다. 알록달록한 색상과 재밌는 소품들 그리고 맛있는 음식까지 학생들의 머리에서 볼 수 있었어요! 중학생들은 Sports Day로 좋아하는 팀이나 종목을 대표하는 유니폼과 운동복을 입고 참여해 활기 넘치는 분위기를 만들었습니다. 고등학생들은 Teacher-Student Swap Day를 즐겁게 보냈습니다. 학생들은 선생님처럼 꾸미고, 일부 선생님들은 학생들의 스타일을 따라 하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요!

Anything But a Backpack Day brought out some of our students' most creative ideas! 🎒✨ Instead of the usual backpacks, students arrived carrying their school supplies in sleds, gummy bear bags, pet strollers, and many other imaginative alternatives. The hallways were filled with laughter and excitement as everyone showcased their unique way of participating in Spirit Week.
We loved seeing the creativity, school spirit, and joy this day brought to our campus!

가방 대신 썰매, 곰젤리 봉투, 유모차 등 다양한 아이템에 학용품을 담아 등교한 학생들 덕분에 복도 곳곳이 웃음과 활기로 가득 찼습니다.

The first day of Spirit Week kicked off with Pajama Day! Students and teachers arrived in the coziest looks imaginable! From their favorite character pajamas to adorable animal-themed PJs, and of course, all the comfiest pants perfect for a relaxed Monday. The hallways were filled with bright colors, fun patterns, and lots of smiles as everyone embraced the spirit of the week.

Spirit Week의 첫 날은 파자마데이로 시작되었습니다! 학생들과 선생님들은 가장 편안한 모습으로 학교에 왔습니다. 좋아하는 캐릭터 파자마와 귀여운 동물 파자마, 그리고 포근한 바지들까지 다양했어요. 복도는 밝은 색들과 다양한 패턴, 그리고 즐거운 미소로 가득했습니다.
