Jogyesa Templestay invites you to a special event on Saturday, October 25, where you can experience the taste and wisdom of traditional Korean temple cuisine.
Come and see, feel, and experience the beauty of Korean monastic food culture.

🧘‍♀️ Event Schedule

1.Balwoo Gongyang Demonstration
Observe a live demonstration of Balwoo Gongyang, the monastic ceremonial meal that embodies mindfulness and moderation.
(This session is an observation only; participants will not be dining.)

2.Temple Food Experience Booths.
Join small experience booths (2–3 in total) offering hands-on activities such as:

Tea tasting
Rice ball making
Fruit-filled glutinous rice cake (chapssaltteok) making

🍱 Lunch Information

Participants may enjoy a light lunch using the food made at the booths.
However, since space is limited and crowds are expected, you are also welcome to have lunch beforehand at Jogyesa’s dining hall “Manbal”, which offers free meals provided by the temple.

We are looking for foreign students to participate in youth mind therapy.

✔️What is "Youth Mind Therapy"?
"Youth Mind Therapy" uses makeup, tea, and fragrance as a medium
It provides time to focus solely on 'I', empathize with 'I', and take care of today's 'I'.
Not a one-off, but a two- to three-week self-care routine through the "Routine Book" after therapy and talking about mental health changes.

Please apply only to those who can participate in the after-meeting.

A young man between 19 and 34 years of age
[If you apply alone]
- Young foreign students who can communicate in Korean (no separate interpretation provided)
[If you apply for a companion]
- A young Korean who want to participate with a foreign student friend!
- A young foreign student who want to participate with my Korean friend!

✔️ Therapy information
- Recruitment of 16 people per session
- My own self-care time through 'Tea' and 'Scent'
- Tea Therapy: Five Senses with Osulloc Tea
- Fragrance Therapy: Aroma Oil, Pillow Mist Produced in Search of Your Own Scent
- Routine progress and certification using the 'Routine Book'

※ The final outstanding activists will be eligible to apply for "Youth Heart Therapy: Jeju Edition," which will be held in the first half of 2026.
