Establishment of the Sri Lankan Students Association was initiated in the middle of 2010. At that time few students gathered and kept the 1st step to initiate the Association. Finally in 2011, their effort became successful with the support of all Sri Lankan Students in South Korea and guidance of Sri Lanka Embassy of Seoul. The purpose of this association is to bring our Sri Lankan Brother’s and sister’s together and to create a friendly environment for all of us. There was a time we all feeling alone in this country, missing our loved people in Home. The association is an attempt to bring together others like us and to be a support and a comfort. The association hopes to be meeting place for old colleagues and new friends. We can share our feelings and experience with all of us. The vision of the association will be to unite and strengthen of Sri Lankan Students while uplifting Sri Lanka’s Reputation in the Korean peninsula. Ultimately, we hope to contribute to society by increasing the human value through creative collaboration for a better human civilization.

Members of the Sri Lankan Students’ Association – Korea (SLSA), as students of Dongshin University, proudly participated in the 39th Student Council Inauguration Ceremony of Dongshin University.

Representing Sri Lanka on an international stage, our students showcased unity, leadership, and national pride while strengthening cultural and academic ties within the university community. 🌍🤝

We are proud to share that our Regional Representative, Chamishka Dilshani, has been selected as an exhibition artist in the recent photo contest organized by the Gwangju Immigration Office.

Her artwork is currently being exhibited at the National Asia Culture Center (ACC), a wonderful achievement and recognition for our Sri Lankan student community in Korea.

📍 Venue: ACC, Gwangju
