ISUS-International School of Urban Sciences, University of Seoul A Place for Friends and Alumni of International School of Urban Sciences at the University of Seoul

ISUS has been founded with the aim to nurture urban and construction professionals, both home and abroad with the skills, knowledge and professionalism, which are called for in today’s increasingly globalizing professional environment. It offers postgraduate degree programs in sustainable urban development and global construction providing unique combinations of practice and theory in the relevant fields such as urban planning and management, urban and regional policies, finance, construction, operation and management. In addition to the two graduate programs which primarily attract Korean mid-career professionals, ISUS runs the International Urban Development Program (IUDP) offering two differentiated degree programs, namely Master of Urban Administration and Planning (MUAP), Master of Urban and Regional Development (MURD) and Master of Sustainability and Environmental Policy (Master’s degree offered by MGLEP) which are entirely subscribed by mid-career government officials from partner cities and countries, respectively. The IUDP also offers an intensive case study program for students from the West, currently from the USA and the UK. The School put together a variety of perspectives and disciplines which are deemed necessary for passing on Korea’s experience to partner countries who wish to draw lessons from it. The academic programs offer abundant opportunities for the home and overseas students to learn and interact across programs (lectures, seminars and other special programs), which in turn contributes to network building amongst able professionals who will be leading the future urban development across the globe.

The GPD Fair is a showcase event for the Global Project Development (GPD) program, where participants present their project outcomes and exchange ideas and feedback.
In addition to IUDP students, representatives from supporting organizations and relevant institutions of the Master’s Degree Programs will also attend.
We warmly invite your interest and participation!
