[Image Making & Personal Color Class]

The Office of International Student Services (OISS) at Sungkyunkwan University successfully held the Image Making & Personal Color Class on June 19 and June 22 for international students. 🎨

During the program, participants learned the fundamentals of personal color analysis and received 1:1 personal color consultations tailored to their individual characteristics. They also explored practical styling tips and interview outfit coordination suitable for job interviews in Korea.

By combining professional image-making techniques with personalized color analysis, students gained greater confidence and practical skills to prepare for their future careers. 💼✨

[CIS Association Meeting]

On May 16, the CIS Association successfully held its semester gathering, bringing together 29 members for an evening filled with meaningful conversations, games, ice-breaking activities, and community building.

The event began with an introduction to the history of the CIS Association, its journey of growth, and future plans, while also introducing the current staff members. Participants then enjoyed the creative "Song Cards" activity, where they expressed themselves by drawing the album cover of their favorite song and sharing its meaning with others. 🎵

Through shared experiences, laughter, and new friendships, the gathering created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that strengthened the sense of belonging within the CIS community.

SKKU OISS is delighted to support student organizations that foster cultural exchange, friendship, and an inclusive campus environment. We look forward to seeing the CIS Association continue to grow! 💙

On June 19 (Seoul Campus) and June 22 (Suwon Campus), SKKU OISS successfully held the 2026 Career Development Lecture: Career Planning for international students.

Through this lecture, participants gained a better understanding of the Korean job market, including hiring trends, recruitment processes, and practical career planning strategies. They also explored industry and job analysis, as well as effective job search methods to help them prepare for their future careers in Korea.

We hope this program provided valuable insights and practical guidance to students who are planning their careers in Korea and helped them take a meaningful first step toward achieving their career goals. 🌱

[Visa Planning After Graduation]

🎓✨ OISS successfully held the “Visa Planning After Graduation” seminar for international students at Sungkyunkwan University on June 19 and 22.

During the seminar, an immigration law attorney shared practical information on post-graduation visa options, visa changes and extensions, as well as employment and job-seeking strategies in Korea.

Participants gained valuable insights into D-10, E-7, and F-2 visas and had the opportunity to ask questions directly during the Q&A session.

We hope this program helped our international students better prepare for their academic, career, and future settlement journeys in Korea. 🌏

OISS will continue to provide practical and systematic programs to support international students in achieving successful futures in Korea. 💙

[Mongolian Student Association Team Activity Event]

From April to June 2026, the SKKU Mongolian Student Association successfully organized the Team Activity Event to promote friendship and strengthen the sense of community among Mongolian students at SKKU. 🤝✨

A total of 32 students participated in the program, forming 8 teams and taking part in various missions and activities together.

Throughout the program, students studied together, visited cultural sites, attended festivals and campus events, explored new places, and created unforgettable memories. 🎉

More than just completing missions, this program provided valuable opportunities for students from different majors and campuses to connect, support one another, and build lasting friendships. 💙

SKKU OISS will continue to create meaningful opportunities for international students to connect, grow, and foster a stronger community at SKKU.

The meeting was attended by S-LINK, and Hi-CLUB,
along with staff members from the OISS and OIR.

Representing S-LINK, President Panyavatthanasinh and
Vice President Battset Minjin joined the discussion
and shared their experiences regarding campus life and student organization activities.

On May 29, SKKU OISS hosted a Korean Calligraphy Cultural Experience Program for international students.

Participants learned about the history of Hangeul and the art of Korean calligraphy while practicing Korean words and phrases using brush pens. Through this hands-on experience, students were able to appreciate the beauty and artistic charm of Hangeul. ✨

For the final activity, students created their own calligraphy artworks featuring their favorite Korean phrases, expressing their creativity and individuality through each piece. 😊

[Najeon Chilgi: Traditional Korean Lacquer Art Experience]

On May 6 and 7, the Office of International Student Services (OISS) at Sungkyunkwan University hosted a traditional Korean mother-of-pearl lacquer art (Najeonchilgi) cultural experience program for international students at both the Seoul and Suwon campuses ✨

Students learned about the meaning and unique characteristics of Najeonchilgi, different types of mother-of-pearl materials, and traditional Korean craft techniques while creating their own artworks 🇰🇷

At the Seoul Campus, students designed custom hand mirrors using traditional Najeonchilgi techniques, while students at the Suwon Campus created beautiful moon jar mood lamps inspired by Korean aesthetics 🪞🌙

Through this program, international students had the opportunity to experience and better understand Korean traditional culture firsthand.

OISS will continue striving to provide meaningful and diverse cultural experience programs for international students 😊
