Students visited the park to explore how systems and safety work in real life. They learned that playtime in the park is only possible when everyone follows rules, stays aware of their surroundings, and makes safe choices. This connected to our learning about children’s rights—especially the right to play—and the responsibility to act in ways that keep ourselves and others safe. The visit was a special opportunity, but also a reminder that rights come with responsibilities. After enjoying the park, we returned to school ready to continue our learning with our last lesson of the day math! Our students showed amazing focus and responsibility.
