Our “Hall of Nations” continues to grow! In another Flag Ceremony, as some of you may recall, we officially welcomed Sudan as the 61st nation represented at CI. We were honored to host Counsellor Yagoub Mohamed from the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan to witness our four Sudanese students lead the flag procession.

This tradition started with many of you, and it remains a cornerstone of our commitment to global citizenship. Whether you were here for the 1st flag or the 60th, you are a vital part of this ever-expanding legacy. Check out the latest addition to the hall you once walked! 🇸🇩✨

What began as a small, passionate gathering in 2017 has grown into a vibrant celebration of creativity within our community, and we would like to invite our CI Alumni community to this year’s edition.

Following the success of last year’s showcase, we are thrilled to organize the 2026 CI Community Art Show, a dynamic exhibition where the creative spirit of our community shines in full force. Some of your former teachers will be exhibiting their own artwork, offering a unique chance to reconnect and see them in a whole new light.

This isn’t just an exhibition, it’s a high-energy celebration of the incredible, often hidden talents that live within our CI family. It’s a moment where creativity takes center stage, and you won’t want to miss it, if you happen to be in Songdo this weekend.

CI students shining again at Yonsei University’s Global Engagement and Empowerment Forum (GEEF)!

From presenting innovative, eco-friendly methods for oil spill cleanup to skillfully moderating panels with global decision-makers, they truly held their own. Watching them share how they are actively driving change in their communities serves as a powerful reminder that our students aren't just preparing for the future; they are shaping a better world right now. 🌍✨

This year’s TEDx at Chadwick International was nothing short of spectacular, executed with remarkable precision from start to finish. The event opened with a deeply moving performance by an orchestra of visually impaired musicians, setting a powerful tone for the day. From there, an inspiring lineup of speakers—including alumni, faculty, staff, and renowned television personalities, who shared powerful stories of resilience and determination under the theme “Beating the Odds.”

Each talk brought a unique perspective, leaving the audience deeply moved and inspired by the strength of the human spirit.

A surreal Chadwick alumni reunion in Paris…one of those moments that feels almost dreamlike. Incredible moment with Alassane (CI’18) and Bella (CS’20) in the middle of the city, far from where it all began for both campuses, was pure magic. Different paths, different years, yet the same shared memories instantly reconnect us, reminding us how far the Chadwick spirit travels.

So special to see one of our CI alumnae celebrate such a beautiful milestone, surrounded by former classmates who have become friends for a lifetime.

Moments like this remind us that the friendships formed at CI don’t end at graduation; they grow into lifelong bonds that show up, wholeheartedly, when it matters most.

This past weekend marked a meaningful milestone for our CI alumni community.

Thanks to the initiative and leadership of some CI alumni, we celebrated the first-ever self-initiated reunion, a gathering organized entirely by alumni for alumni.

The dinner brought together 13 graduates from five different classes (2018–2022), including two who traveled all the way from Pittsburgh and New York just to attend the gathering in Boston. For many, it was their first CI reunion since graduation, making the evening especially meaningful. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with alumni expressing deep appreciation for CI’s continued interest in their journeys and for the chance to reconnect with the community that helped shape them.

Most importantly, because this reunion was envisioned and organized by the alumni themselves, it represents a powerful step in the growth of our Shared Legacy and sets a sustainable precedent for future regional gatherings.

We hope this becomes a cherished tradition as our global CI alumni network continues to grow stronger.
