Announcement: Co-hosting the 2026 Gimcheon World Taekwondo Championships

We are pleased to announce that ITF-KOREA will be co-organizing the '2026 Gimcheon World Taekwondo Championships' on July 11–12, through a strategic partnership with the World Sport Committee (WSC).

This event is organized as a special collaborative project within the framework of a multi-sport festival hosted by the World Sport Committee. It serves as a platform to showcase the technical excellence of ITF Taekwon-Do and to foster exchange with various sports organizations.

We look forward to the participation of ITF practitioners from around the globe. Please note that this is an Open Championship available to all.

🇰🇷 Upcoming Event in Seoul: The 7th World ONE Taekwondo Championships
In addition, we are excited to announce that the 7th World ONE Taekwondo Championships will be held in Seoul from August 15–16, 2026.

Information regarding this event will be posted on the ITF-KOREA website on April 27. Please save the dates and stay tuned for further updates.

1966년 3월 22일 우리나라 첫 번째 국제조직인
국제태권도연맹 (International Taekwon-Do Federation)이 조선호텔에서 창립됬습니다.
올해는 ITF창립 60주년 기념으로 조선호텔에서 세계 각국에서 참여한 200여명의 내외빈들과 행
기념식을 갖었습니다.
이번 행사에서 대한민국 유승희 사무총장님과 함께 영광스러운 상을 받았습니다.
앞으로도 지금까지 하던대로 도복입고 수련하며 태권일신, 오도일관 하겠습니다.
