IBS Center for Geometry and Physics

IBS Center for Geometry and Physics The Center for Geometry and Physics (CGP) is a mathematics research center of the Institute for Basic Science (IBS).

The center is located on the POSTECH campus in Pohang, South Korea. The IBS Center for Geometry and Physics provides an environment for dynamic pioneering scholars to create new mathematics, engage in international collaboration, and inspire young and upcoming leaders to further pursue their fields of geometry and theoretical physics. We strive to firmly establish and develop the emerging field of

symplectic algebraic topology in collaborative projects among experts in fields such as symplectic geometry, dynamics, topology, and mathematical physics. We also aspire to further explore symplectic geometry (including contact geometry), dynamical systems, mirror symmetry, Gromov-Witten theory, mathematical physics, and low-dimensional topology.
