Elementary students in grades 4–5 visited the Gyeongju Invention Experience Center on a field trip. Through creative thinking and hands-on exploration, they developed problem-solving skills and connected scientific principles to real-life situations.

🌿Korea Day를 맞아 HIS 학생들이 한국의 전통과 문화를 배우며 즐거운 하루를 보냈습니다. 한복과 태권도 도복 등 한국을 대표하는 복장을 입고 등교한 학생들은 놀이와 체험을 통해 우리 문화의 아름다움을 다시 한 번 느꼈습니다. 하나님께서 주신 우리의 뿌리를 기억하며 감사하는 시간이 되었습니다.

🌿In celebration of Korea Day, HIS students spent a joyful day learning about Korean traditions and culture. Dressed in traditional outfits such as hanbok and taekwondo uniforms, students experienced and enjoyed activities that helped them appreciate the beauty of Korean heritage once again. It was a meaningful time to give thanks and remember the roots that God has blessed us with.

📚한글날과 Korea Day를 기념하여 초등 사랑의 책 장터가 열렸습니다. 학생들은 친구들에게 추천하고 싶은 책을 기부하고, 책을 나누며 경제와 이웃 사랑의 가치를 배우는 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈습니다. 나눔의 기쁨을 함께한 이번 행사가 아이들의 마음에 따뜻한 추억으로 오래 남기를 소망합니다.

* 수익금 전액은 10학년 미션 트립(일본, 인도네시아) 후원금으로 기부되었습니다.

📚 In celebration of Hangeul Day and Korea Day, the Love Book Sharing Fair was held in the Elementary. Students donated books they wanted to recommend to their friends and learned the value of generosity and neighborly love while sharing and exchanging books. We hope this meaningful event, filled with the joy of giving, will remain a warm memory in their hearts for a long time.

* All proceeds were donated to support the 10th-grade mission trips to Japan and Indonesia.

🕊️10학년 학생들이 수업 시간에 모의 유엔(Model UN) 활동을 진행했습니다. 미국, 러시아, 중국, 영국, 프랑스, 한국, 우크라이나, 이스라엘, 북한을 대표해 ‘국제 분쟁 예방과 평화 구축을 위한 유엔 평화활동의 발전 방향’을 주제로 토론과 협상을 통해 각국의 입장을 조율하고 결의안을 도출하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 이번 활동이 학생들에게 하나님의 마음으로 평화를 고민하고 세상을 바라보는 배움의 시간이 되었기를 소망합니다.

🕊️Grade 10 students participated in an In-Class Model UN activity. Representing countries such as the United States, Russia, China, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, Ukraine, Israel, and North Korea, they discussed and negotiated on the agenda, “Developing UN Peace Operations for Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding.” We pray that this experience becomes a meaningful opportunity for our students to learn, collaborate, and seek peace with hearts that reflect God’s love.

Both teachers and elementary students dressed up as their favorite book characters, spending a joyful evening reading together, playing board games, and enjoying craft activities. It was a valuable time for families and the school to share wisdom and strengthen our children to grow in faith and health. As they remembered the spiritual legacy of Missionary Thomas and the March 1st Movement, they learned that even small acts of obedience can be seeds that change the world. Thank You, Lord, for granting us safety throughout this time.

🐞🔍1–6학년 학생들이 자연 속에서 곤충과 생태계를 직접 체험하며 배우는 특별한 프로그램 ‘야단법석’에 참여했습니다. 학교 운동장에서 열린 이번 체험을 통해 아이들이 곤충의 세계를 가까이에서 관찰하고, 다양한 활동을 통해 자연의 소중함을 배울 수 있기를 소망합니다.

🐞🔍 Students from grades 1 to 6 participated in the special program “Nighttime Explorers”, where they experienced and learned about insects and ecosystems in nature. Through this program held on the school playground, we hope our students were able to closely observe the world of insects and gain a deeper appreciation for the value of nature through various activities.

🏄12학년 학생들이 포항의 바다를 배움의 장으로 삼아 서핑 수업을 진행했습니다. 교실과 운동장을 벗어나 새로운 장소에서 이뤄진 이번 시간이 학생들에게 즐거운 추억과 안전을 배우는 기회가 되기를 소망합니다.

🏄 Our 12th graders headed out to the waters of Pohang for a surfing lesson. Getting out of the classroom and onto the ocean, we hope this experience gave them lasting memories and an opportunity to grow in water safety.
