How can you develop your brain?
Did you know that the least studied system on earth is our brain, a structure that prepares the more secrets, the more efforts are made to recognize them.
Just imagine, neurons are capable of establishing a quadrillion connections in the brain of each of us, a million billion. Every second 100,000 chemical reactions take place there. It is estimated that, on average, the brain generates from 25,000 to 50,000 thoughts per day, with most of them negative.
And all this works around the clock, even while you sleep! And at night he works much more efficiently, because we are finally sleeping, and no one bothers it. At night, the right hemisphere is most active; it sorts out daytime impressions, placing some of them in long-term memory. For those who like to stay awake at night, it overheats, so the person is forced to yawn to cool the brain.
The brain is not capable of multitasking. Functionally, it just quickly switches from one content to another, but the modern world increasingly requires us to multitask, and this is not the only stress for the brain.
We live in an era of a changed reality, the demolition of the old world under the onslaught of a digital challenge. The world has become superfast - information flows in a high-speed stream on the verge of our physiological perception. We are getting used to transparency - any presence on the Web leaves its digital footprint, we can no longer be sure of our own safety. It became hybrid, the real and virtual worlds merged. In these conditions, our brain is under extreme stress.
The new reality forces us to solve unexpected problems, puts us in unpredictable conditions, which requires our brain to be creative, sustained attention, active thinking, and the ability to quickly switch. How to help your brain cope with stressful loads, how to maintain and increase its performance?
