Dear members, I often get asked these questions about our site. I want to publicly answer so that you can set your minds at rest.

Are the PDF files free even if I can’t afford a donation?
Yes! our videos and PDF files will remain free for the moment. That is the reason why rely on donations to keep the project running but you are not required to donate if you don’t want to or can’t afford it.

How do you finance your site?
At the moment we pay out of our own pockets. We hope that by getting 1,000 subscribers to our YouTube Channel, that we can earn from advertising on our site. We are still a long way off that goal and hope that our members will support us with donations. Please, please, please, if you are not a subscriber, subscribe now! Also we need your ‘likes’ on our videos to help promote our work. If you don’t like our videos, please tell us why. We can only make better what you dislike.

Are there advantages for donating?
There are no advantages from donating, every member will be treated the same. But your donations help students worldwide who can’t afford to pay for learning to have access to our material.

Why do you need donations?
Making our videos and PDF files takes a lot of time – we have to continually improve our content, keep up with site updates, answer user questions, and pay the servers that allow you to download and update My First Words.
With your donation you help pay for some of this time and ensure this project keeps going.
