Dalton Problems - Dalton Solutions Pitch Event in 7th Grade SDL: Students chose something at CDS that they wanted to improve and then used the Design Thinking process to help them develop their solution prototypes. 7th grader students presented their prototypes to judges, peers, and 5th graders. Great work, 7th Graders!

6 Middle School students joined the Honor Choir Festival at GSIS. Our students prepared three songs to perform and enjoyed singing with a full choir. This was the first in-person choir event in three years! One happy CDS student even wished there wasn't a snack break so they could keep singing! Way to go CDS MS Honor Choir!

The G4s built up our community by promoting positive mental health by designing a number of mini golf holes and inviting the community to come and play them. It was not just fun though as they learned about angles and gravitational transfer of energy. Thank you for helping our community be such a positive place!

What makes CDS unique? Its dedicated and passionate alumni! Saturday, the CDS Alumni Network held its first official event in Gangnam to network and brainstorm ways alumni can support one another as well as our future alumni.

In attendance was a member from every single graduating class! It was an incredible opportunity and we hope to hold more in the future!

CDS Middle School gathered for our Quarter 3 Assembly where we reflected on Quarter 2, celebrated our student academic successes, and played a minute to win it for Dalton Cup points. We also recognized students from Quarters 1 and 2 who demonstrate our 6Cs on a daily basis. Congratulations to all of our spectacular students!

FP (First Program) students took part in another fun House Jamboree, the first House event since our long winter break. It was great to get together, challenge ourselves, and collaborate in new ways! We look forward to the next House Jamboree on Feb 3rd, as the students will participate in Jumping for Healthy Hearts!

December 11th
This week culminated in a wonderful MS (Middle School) Winter Concert brought to you by Ms. Van Liew, Grades 6 & 7 and the Phoenix Symphonix CC. From displays of learning in music from the first semester to some lovely new renditions of Christmas classics, Ms. Van Liew and company knocked it out of the part. We were delighted to see the number of community members, from parents to fellow students there for the show. Well done, team!
