Founded in 1946, Namsung High School is one of the prestigious private high schools in South Korea located in Iksan city, Jeonbuk province. Focusing on the educational principle, which emphasizes on basic competitiveness to make students become global leaders, Namsung High School offers an excellent acdemic experience. Namsung's history and influence have made it one of the most prestigious high schools in South Korea. Motto
Three fundamental mottos, sincerity, loyalty, and harmony, are core values that all students and alumni pursuit, and those mottos serve as the impetus for making whole member of Namsung play a significant and central role in the globalized society. Organization
A faculty of approximately 77 teachers, including 16th president Park, Young Dal, lecturers, and instructors serve as of school year 2012 with 1,075 students. Facts
Colors - Navy blue (meaning spirit of democratic society)
Chaplain - Hymalaya cedar (meaning youth and strong will)
Chant - Completed in June 14th, 1971.
