Humphreys Middle School PTSO

The object of HMS PTSO is:
-to promote the welfare of children and youth in the home, the school, and the community.
-to speak on behalf of youth and assist with support of school programs from extracurricular athletic activities, clubs, and all school-time instructional programs through any activity that promotes character, commitment, and quality instruction.
-to serve as a forum where teacher

s, administrators, and other concerned adults discuss ways to strive to expand the arts, encourage community involvement, and work for a healthy school environment.
-to bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
-to develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education. We have ways members of the community can be a member of the HMS PTSO!
