Introducing Research Position in Korea (RPIK) System
To All Interested Members,
First of all, I hope you and your families are all doing well, given the impact that COVID-19 is having around the world.
My name is Jenny Kim of Global Researcher Invitation Program Support Team under NRF.
NRF (National Research Foundation of Korea) is a research funding agency supported by the Ministry of Science & ICT of Korea.
Thank you for your strong interest of NRF’s Global Researcher Invitation Programs (Korea Research Fellowship (KRF) & Brain Pool (BP) : Overseas postdoctoral researchers invitation programs)
Even during this pandemic period, NRF has put a lot of effort to support outstanding postdoctoral researchers from overseas and more than over 170 fellows have been selected to be invited into Korea in 2020.
For those programs, candidates need to secure a host PI in Korea who is willing to invite you.
However, in order to help interested candidates to find a research positions & job seeking in Korea, NRF has launched a new online platform called “RPIK (Research Position In Korea)”
So today, I would like to introduce our new recruitment platform, Research Position in Korea (RPIK)
This RPIK is a virtual platform upon which facilitates a two-way flow of information between foreign researchers seeking work in Korea and host institutions searching for overseas researchers.
On the RPIK, you can register your account and find new recruitment notices of research institutes in Korea you may be interested in.
Furthermore, through the automatic/manual/selective matching functions, you will be able to pursue your future research career at one of the outstanding research institutes in Korea.

The network is intended to showcase the professional profiles of our fellows from around the world, and foster collaboration and networking among the more than 300 BP & KRF Fellowship awardees since 2018.
There is no registration fee required to join, and you can find research achievements of our current/post KRF/BP fellows as below.
Please feel free to leave any questions or comments regarding networking or collaboration.
During our main event on Dec. 15th, 2020, we will have a session to explain this RPIK system (from 11:35~ 12:00, KST) and you can also participate in the event and network with current/post fellows in real time via a virtual platform.
