Happy Chuseok!

Chuseok in South Korea is one of the largest holidays of the year and is commonly known as Korean Thanksgiving. Masses of people travel to their hometowns to reconnect with family and perform Charye (차례), a ritual performed during the Chuseok, where family members offer traditional and provincial Korean dishes and drink to their ancestors.

We hope that with current restrictions, everyone is able to have a safe and happy holiday with friends and family.

Congratulations to all of our Hotel Management students on the completion of their Capstone Projects and to the students who were selected to participate in THE 4TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF LANGUAGES, EDUCATION AND TOURISM 2021 (ICLET 2021), where student Amrita Gaotham, guided by professor Bipi Nair, was awarded 2nd place for her Mute Research Poster Presentation.

We are proud of your accomplishments. Our Hotel Mgmt Dept prides itself on our student's ability to excel and learn through competition.

We were grateful to be able to celebrate this time in a small ceremony with our students graduating this Spring!

Students learn how to figure costs and use their creativity to create full menus as if for a banquet or event. For their final presentation, each group was given four ingredients and created an hors d'oeuvre, a canapé, a soup, & an appetizer, with mains and desserts to follow.

Prof. Diosdado C Dalosa said of the class, "This really gives students the understanding and experience to actually create their own catering company."

We're happy to announce that Woosong University signed an agreement with BINUS University in Indonesia for an exchange program opportunity!

Just like Woosong, BINUS University also welcomes international students to take advantage of the array of programs offered at their international campuses.

Our students can now study for a semester at one of the most renowned universities in the region while enjoying the bustling and vibrant life in Indonesia.
