충청북도 청주시 서원구 무심서로에 있는 사립고등학교이다. 1967년 10월 5일 운호종합고등학교로 설립인가를 받아 1968년 3월 6일 청주여자상업고등학교에서 개교하였다. 1969년 6월 운호중학교로, 1970년 2월 흥덕구 무심서로 375로 교사를 이전하였으며 1971년 1월 13일 제1회 졸업생 181명을 배출하였다. 1973년 11월 1일 운호고등학교로 교명을 변경하였으며 1973년 12월 27일 대만 경문고등학교와 자매결연을 체결하였다. 교훈은 '자율, 근면, 정직'이며 교목은 느티나무이다.
