Dongguk University is a prestigious private school with 114 years of history founded on Buddhist ideology, and it is located in the middle of Seoul, the center of Korea's ancient, modern and contemporary culture, and has the advantage of easy access for international students to urban life and various cultural experiences.

The Korean class at the Institute of International Language of Dongguk University was founded in 2002 in order to help those who are very interested in learning Korean. Our Korean class consists of 6 levels in total and it includes the lessons of Korean culture and history. The institute has highly trained teachers and we use Dongguk University’s own Korean textbook with well organized curriculum. Systemic and modern classes are made considering the Korean learners’ level. Dongguk’s Korean course builds the best understanding of Korean and Korean culture. Completing level 4 allows students to enter Dongguk University’s undergraduate program without needing TOPIK level 4. We offer and a global buddy program to improve students’ Korean skills and understanding of Korean culture. You will also meet international students from the all around world.

Starting March 21, fully vaccinated South Koreans and foreign visitors from overseas do not need to self-quarantine, except for those from Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Myanmar.

Currently all people who enter South Korea should self-quarantine for seven days regardless of their vaccine status.

From April, foreign visitors and South Koreans who return home from overseas trips will be allowed to take public transportation from the airport to their destinations. At the moment, private cars and "quarantine taxis" are only permitted as a means of transportation.

📣Latest Info on South Korea immigration regulations (Feb 2022)

📌Required docs for COVID-19
- PCR negative certificate (2 days) before departure date

📌Quarantine Regulations
- 7 days quarantine for all passengers from overseas regardless of nationality and vaccination status
(Exemption : Passenger from Singapore those who meet all requirements for VTL)

- Quarantine for Long-Term Foreigners
* Self-quarantine at their own residence
* PCR test at a local public health center nearby place of quarantine

- Quarantine for Short-term foreign residents
* Quarantine in a government-managed facility (Own cost), Self-quarantine is possible if a family in a relationship with a long-term foreign residents/Korean is confirmed

📌 Quarantine exemption
- For passengers who have completed vaccination in Korea
- For passengers who have completed vaccination overseas : Should hold approved 'Quarantine exemption form', Submit vaccination certificate in advance
* For the issuance of the quarantine exemption letter, the quarantine exemption application documents, pledge, and vaccination certificate must be submitted to the screening agency (embassy/consulate and relevant ministries)

📌Quarantine & isolation procedures for those who are exempt from quarantine

🛬Arrival in Korea → Submit vaccination certificate/PCR negative certificate to the quarantine officer → Pass the examination by the Ministry of Justice → Pick up baggage → Move to residence (no restrictions on using public transportation) → quarantine after a PCR test at the local public health center within 1 day of arrival → Exemption from quarantine → Visit a public health center on the 6th or 7th day after entering the country and conduct additional diagnostic tests
