The ability to write is a necessary skill.

Writing improves our ability to communicate and clarify our thoughts to others and to ourselves.

Grade 5

We will not allow the pandemic to cause us to regress.

If you have a good setup and know how to maneuver the platform, online learning can be just as successful as face to face learning.

SPS teachers have provided excellent academic and personal support to their students during this difficult time.

Our children will continue to learn.

Mrs.Phipps and Mrs.Barrette, congratulations!

Remote Learning: Grade 6

Proud is an understatement.

I do applaud the staff at Saddlers Primary for being so proactive.

Virtual learning, is a HIT for our students as the activities are entertaining and engaging.

We met in small groups yesterday, and plans were in motion:

1. Kindergarten to grade two teachers prepared care packages and selected areas in the students' workbooks to be completed.

2. Grade 3 to Grade 6 teachers prepared remote learning timetables.

3. Parents were provided with the timetable.

But guess what. Technology is no stranger, in our classrooms, it is integrated daily into our lessons.

Check out this video... The grade 6 children are enjoying distance learning. Ms. Simmons, I commend you.

Flawless transition!

CELEBRATING ARBOR DAY! 🌴

30/04/2021

Arbor Day, like Earth Day, is a holiday that
honours the natural world.

Its aim is to inspire people to plant trees, and many societies have used it as an incentive to do so in the past.

Today we celebrate Arbor Day at SPS.

[04/20/21]   For the Saddlers community, this is a particularly sad and difficult season.

The Saddlers Primary School family mourns the loss of two members of the community:
Parent: Ms. Bernicia Phipps πŸ•Š
Past Student: Ms. Negel Liburd πŸ•Š

The Principal, staff, and students of S.P.S would like to extend their heartfelt condolences to Bernicia Phipps and Negel Liburd's immediate families. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

This is disturbing news and we are all grieved by these untimely deaths.

Death in whatever form it takes is something we can never get accustomed to. However, death is inevitable, yet life is immeasurable.

May their memories bring smiles and laughter to their loved ones and villagers and may they find comfort and peace in the arms of The Almighty.

May their souls rest in peace and rise in glory. πŸ•ŠπŸ•Š
