• The future tense is used to say something WILL happen

• Future Tense verb endings
o Je … ai
o Tu … as
o Il, elle, on … a
o Nous … ons
o Vous … ez
o Ils, elles … ont

• To form the future tense, you simply add the requisite endings to the infinitive of the verb.
o Eg: I will eat  je mangerai

• For ‘-re’ verbs like ‘vendre’ you drop the final ‘-e’ and hen add the appropriate ending
o Eg: he will sell  il vendra

• *PLEASE NOTE* The verbs ‘être’ and ‘avoir’
o Être  ser avoir  aur
o Eg: we will have some tea  nous aurons du thé

* students revised the conjugation of the verb "querer" (to want/to like)

*Students were able to say what he/she wants

*Students looked at a few illustrations and were able to say what each person wanted or wanted to do

*4 students volunteered to re-enact a dialogue where 2 siblings invited 2 of their friends over to play a game but the weather was very hot and the siblings asked their friends what they wanted to drink and the friends said what they wanted to drink.

*Seat work* Students completed a dialogue between a teacher and her students. The teacher asks each student what he/she wants to do. meanwhile, there is an illustration where our students had to give an answer according to the illustration.
