🚨Sound the alarm because what a truly unforgettable evening!🚨
Dr. Denzil L. Douglas Secondary School proudly hosted its very first Athletes' Gala on Saturday 6 June 2026. A historic and epic celebration dedicated to our outstanding student-athletes who have represented Wolf Nation with pride, passion, discipline, and excellence. 🔥🔥
💙Throughout the year, our athletes in Football (U14 and U20), Netball (U14 and U20), and Track and Field have worn the DLD colours with distinction. 💙They trained tirelessly, competed fearlessly, and demonstrated the resilience, teamwork, and determination that define the spirit of our Wolf Pack. On this special night, it was our turn to celebrate them.💙
🙏🏾We extend our deepest gratitude to the Rt Hon Denzil Llewellyn Douglas, the school's eponym, whose unwavering support of education and youth development continues to inspire our school community. We were also deeply honoured by the presence of Mrs. Lisa Pistana, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Francil Morris, Chief Education Officer, and Mr. Boris Connor, Education Officer. Your attendance and encouragement affirmed the importance of celebrating our young people and their accomplishments.🙏🏾
Collective Effort = Successful Gala
✨To our coaches, teachers, parents, sponsors, organizers, and supporters, we say thank you for investing your time and energy✨
🐺💙Most importantly, to our student-athletes: thank you for giving us so many reasons to cheer, celebrate, and believe. You have made your school proud. May this first Athletes' Gala be the beginning of a cherished tradition that continues to honour excellence for years to come.🐺💙
Congratulations, Wolves! 💯
One Team. One Dream!💯
