While in Taiwan, our Principal, Ms Andreana French, seized the opportunity to strengthen the partnership between DLDSS and our sister school, Private Nanshan Senior High School. 🇹🇼🤝🏽🇰🇳

Also on hand to facilitate the visit was His Excellency Donya Francis, Ambassador of St. Kitts and Nevis to Taiwan, helping to further strengthen this valuable connection.

The highlight of the visit was the proposed collaboration on an Online Television News Channel, through which students from both schools will use an online platform to share stories, learn from one another, and strengthen interaction and cultural exchange between St. Kitts and Nevis and Taiwan. 🎥🌎

🐺✨At DLDSS, we officially welcomed our newest Wolves with our traditional “Walk of the Pack”! 🐺✨

From there, our First Formers met their homeroom teachers for a structured first day designed to welcome, orient, organize and connect. They were kept engaged while their homeroom teachers helped them to settle in, understand expectations, and feel right at home.

The 2026–2027 Academic Year is officially underway, and our students came out READY FOR ACTION!

We were honoured to welcome our school’s eponym, The Right Honourable Dr. Denzil L. Douglas, who stopped by to share his well wishes, along with Senator the Honourable Dr. Joyelle Clarke, who joined us as she visited schools in her capacity as a member of Cabinet.

But the highlight? 🥁🥁 Welcoming our newest pack of Wolves, our First Formers! And WOW… the numbers left us amazed! Clearly, we’re doing something right at Wolf Nation! 👏🏽

What a journey it has been!

These images capture so much: the growth, the determination, the pride, and the beginning of an extraordinary new chapter. From the Dieppe Bay Primary-School Warrior, to the DLD Wolf who learned to stand strong, to the future Razorback now stepping confidently onto a much bigger stage, we are all filled with emotion watching Ms Thomas make this transition.

DeCheynelle Thomas is off to the University of Arkansas to further her athletic and academic career.

The University of Arkansas is a powerhouse track and field program and has just got even stronger with the addition of Ms. Thomas.

DeCheynelle enjoyed her fastest year in track and field this season running personal bests in both the 200m and 400m.

She will be missed in the local scene but we know bigger and brighter times are ahead.

We congratulate DeCheynelle and wish her the very best.
