We were fortunate enough today to have Dr. Cavanaugh teach us how to use Doppler for blood pressure measurements on our kitty cat friends! Well done by all (including the cats), and thank you Dr. Cavanaugh! 😸

If you saw us at the club fair today and your internet wasn't working, here's all our info!

Who we are: Feline Friendly Practitioners Club! We serve to educate future veterinarians on feline medicine and feline friendly handling procedures through engaging lectures and hands on experiences.

😻😻 What kind of experiences do we offer? 😻😻
😸 Lectures on a variety of feline health and behavior topics, such as:
🐾 Geriatric feline disorders
🐾 Diseases specific to, or common, in cats
🐾 Emergency approaches and critical care
🐾 And more! We try to do 1-2 lectures per semester, topics can vary!
😸 Wet labs that allow the opportunity to practice full feline physical exams with a focus on feline friendly handling techniques. This includes:
🐾 Experience gained that is otherwise not taught in the typical Ross or EVS curriculum
🐾 Tips and tricks to keep cats relaxed and happy during their exam
🐾 Learn how to handle fractious (spicy) cats
🐾 Towel wrapping and handling techniques
🐾 Fun, hands-on experience with our furry friends!

WE ARE IN NEED OF NEW OFFICERS!
While we all love being a part of and operating this club, our time is up. We would love to pass on this awesome experience to some fresh new faces!
