The Alliance Française of St. Kitts and Nevis was created in 1980 and has been operating since 1982 in Greenlands and since 1988 in Nevis.

Alliance Française de St Kitts & Nevis is happy to welcome back the Francoscope students!

Francoscope aims at providing students with both video production skills and French language proficiency.

Students attend weekly French classes, along with trainings from Mr. André Huie, where they learn the basics of video production: from script writing to editing and working behind and in front of the camera.

As a result: wonderful videos, each centered on one of the various aspects of Francophonie. From France to Haïti, Lebanon, Belgium, Burkina Faso, Québec, or Switzerland, Francoscope is a great reminder all of the richness and diversity of Francophonie throughout the world. We look forward to enjoying the next video!

We are pleased to announce that CSEC preparation classes will be held from Monday September 21 at 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. These sessions are designed to help students strengthen their knowledge and skills as they prepare for their upcoming exams.

On Sept. 1 and 2, Alliance Française de Saint Kitts & Nevis hosted a DELF training for French teachers of the Ministry of Education. This training was part of the CARIFRAN project, which aims at strengthening French language in the Eastern Caribbean States and Barbados. It was centered around the DELF diploma (Diplôme d'études en langue française) and conducted by Mr. Gauthier Carol, newly appointed Director of Alliance Française de Saint Kitts & Nevis. We thank and congratulate all the participants and we look forward to making the DELF examination a major stepping stone of the secondary school curriculum.

🇫🇷✨ What a wonderful week at our 2026 Summer Camp: A French Adventure! ✨🇫🇷

A big thank you to all the children who joined us this year, and to their parents for their trust and support. We had a lovely week full of learning, creativity, games, discoveries, and lots of smiles!

Throughout the camp, our young participants enjoyed French classes, discovered many aspects of French culture, took part in a pétanque tournament, made delicious crêpes, and explored the French heritage of Basseterre during a historical walk.

They also took part in inspiring marine environment awareness sessions with Promar and Blue Conscience, visited Dolphin Discovery for a meaningful experience around marine life, and enjoyed a beautiful art session with artist Phyllis Koppel.

We would also like to warmly thank TDC Group Limited for their generous support of this year’s camp.

Thank you again to everyone who made this week possible. We hope to see our young French adventurers again soon at the Alliance Française de St. Kitts & Nevis!

This month, join us for a screening of Magma, directed by Cyprien Vial and starring Marina Foïs and Théo Christine.

Set in Guadeloupe, the film follows Katia Reiter, director of the island’s volcanological observatory, and Aimé, a young Guadeloupean volcanologist she is training. As signs of a major eruption of La Soufrière begin to appear, they must assess an increasingly uncertain threat and help protect the population. Combining suspense, human drama and the striking landscapes of Guadeloupe, Magma offers a gripping look at science, responsibility and crisis.
