This summer, children will travel through France without leaving St. Kitts! 🇫🇷☀️

Join us at the Alliance Française de St. Kitts & Nevis for a fun-filled week of French culture, creativity, games, and discovery.

Throughout the week, campers will:
🎨 Take part in artistic and cultural activities
🗼 Discover famous French landmarks and traditions
👩🏽‍🍳 Enjoy fun culinary workshops and French-inspired treats
🎶 Explore French music, dance, and songs
🧩 Play interactive games and team challenges
🚌 Enjoy exciting field trips and special activities
🇫🇷 Learn simple French words and expressions in a fun and beginner-friendly way

Each day will combine learning, creativity, adventure, and fun in a warm and engaging environment designed especially for children ages 8–14.

A few memories from our recent visit to Vanilla Paradise Farm in Nevis 🌿

Our participants had the chance to discover the story behind vanilla growing, visit Hamilton Mill, explore the farm, learn more about the delicate process of hand-pollinating vanilla orchids, and enjoy a tasting in a beautiful setting.

📖✨ Storytelling Evening at the Alliance Française ✨📖

As part of Reading Month, join us for an evening of stories, memory and local heritage with Kittitian historian and author Leonard Stapleton.

Taken from his book Places of Memory, the evening will feature three powerful stories about family, friendship and liberty in St. Kitts and Nevis. Through these stories, the audience will journey through the islands’ history and heritage sites, with a focus on the experiences, resilience and contributions of enslaved Africans.

This event is open to all ages and suitable for both children and adults.

🇫🇷🌊 A few memories from our recent day trips to St. Barth!

On March 28th and May 2nd, participants joined us for two wonderful getaways filled with beautiful scenery, French culture, delicious food, shopping, relaxation, and great company. From the colorful streets of Gustavia to turquoise waters and sunny beaches, these trips once again reminded us that a little piece of France is just a few hours away from St. Kitts! ☀️🚤

Thank you to everyone who traveled with us and helped create such a warm and enjoyable atmosphere throughout both trips.

🌍✨ Training for French Teachers in Guyana 🇬🇾

The Alliance Française of St. Kitts & Nevis was proud to collaborate with the Alliance Française of Guyana to deliver a 2-day training program for secondary school French teachers in Georgetown on April 22–23, 2026.

Over the course of 12 hours, participants explored communicative and action-oriented approaches, learner motivation, and strategies to encourage oral production in the classroom.

💡 The training was highly interactive, with teachers actively engaging in workshops, exchanging ideas, and designing practical classroom activities they can immediately implement.

This initiative builds on a successful training previously conducted in St. Kitts & Nevis and reflects our shared commitment to strengthening French language education across the region.

👏 A big thank you to all the dedicated teachers for their participation and enthusiasm, as well as to the Alliance Française of Guyana, the Ministry of Education, and the French Embassy in Guyana for their collaboration and support.
