CFBC Jenkins Limited Leadership Program
Recognizes Dr. Leighton Naraine

It was in 2012 that Peter Jenkins, the founder of The CFBC Jenkins Limited Leadership Program made the long walk from his office on Cayon Street to the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College,
Burden Street. Though the distance can be considered less than a mile it seemed long and laboured.

With uncertainty and indecision he met Dr. Hermia Morton Anthony the Principal and outlined his vision of a collaboration between Jenkins Limited and the CFBC. The concept was in the form of an independence gift for 30 students. An 18 weeks program in leadership for citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis.

What was uncertainty and indecision immediately turned to enthusiasm and excitement as the concept was readily accepted.
However to transform it from the concept to actual deliverables, Mr. Jenkins was asked to liaise with Dr. Leighton Naraine. He took the concept notes and converted them into deliverables so that at the end of each session we could determine if the established goals were met. This was a critical exercise and perhaps is the reason why the program is still thriving in 2026, 11 Cohorts later.

We at Jenkins Limited and the CFBC Jenkins Ltd Leadership Program recognize the contribution of Dr. Leighton Narine to this leadership program that continues to impact lives in the Federation
of St. Kitts and Nevis. Dr. Narine also served the CFBC and the Nation in many other areas. He has truly left a mark on our Nation.

Dr. Naraine recently transitioned and we extend God’s guidance and protection and wish that his soul would rest in Peace.

Cohort 10 Announces New Date for A Night of Splendor!

The organizers of ‘A Night of Splendor ’ have decided to reschedule the event to Saturday, October 5th, 2024, to be held at the National Heroes Park, starting at 6:00 pm. This change comes after assessing the effects of the current heat wave affecting the nation and the inclement weather expected this weekend.

Additionally, the committee has introduced a tier 2 with a cost of admission to $180.00. However, those who have purchased and wish to purchase tickets at $250.00 will be entered into an exclusive raffle to win a 2-night stay at Belmont Sanctuary Resort (Kittitian Hill) or a 2-night stay at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel.
