Today, Monday, 7th September 2026, we officially opened our doors for the 2026–2027 Academic Year!

We are excited to welcome back our students, teachers, staff and families and our new Phoenixers as we begin another year filled with learning, growth, discovery and achievement.

Our theme for this academic year is: “Rise with Purpose, Strive for Excellence, Shine with Confidence!” As we journey through this new school year, we encourage every student to come each day with a purpose, always give their best and confidently allow their talents and abilities to shine.

Our Halliday-Smith Primary School Cricket Team gave it their all in the semifinals, demonstrating determination, resilience, and outstanding sportsmanship. While the result was not what we had hoped for, we are incredibly proud of how far our team progressed and the commitment they displayed throughout the competition.

Reaching the semifinals is an achievement worth celebrating, and every player represented our school with pride, courage, and excellence. Thank you to our coaches, supporters, parents, and everyone who cheered our team on throughout the season.
