📌Salute to the Father of Social Security, Gone but Never Forgotten🫡🇰🇳

T’was a day like this—-May 23, back in 1978, at 11:30 p.m., Premier Bradshaw passed away at his home in Fortlands, Basseterre, St. Kitts while surrounded by his mother Mary Jane Francis, his wife Mildred Bradshaw, Cabinet colleagues, Labour Party officials, and trusted friends including Mortimer Warner and Archdeacon G.P. J. Walker. He was just 61 years old.

Following a State Funeral on May 31, 1978, he was laid to rest at Springfield Cemetery.

…Just a little reminder from your friends at Social Security to:
✅ Stay calm.

What the month of May means at Social Security--A Legacy That Lives On 🇰🇳

At Social Security, the month of May stands as a month of reflection as we honor the life and legacy of The Right Excellent Sir Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw, whose vision and leadership helped shape our nation.

This historic image captures his funeral in 1978.

Sir Robert passed just three months after the establishment of the St. Christopher and Nevis Social Security Board.

To this very day, we continue to remember his contribution, his sacrifice, and his unwavering commitment to the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Long live the legacy of The Right Excellent Sir Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw. 🇰🇳
