On July 2, 2026, we proudly celebrated the 15th Scholarship Awards Ceremony of the William Marcus Natta Memorial Scholarship Fund.

We extend our deepest pride to every applicant and are overjoyed to welcome four outstanding new Natta Scholars to our family:
From Tucker Clarke Primary: Ms Aaliá Browne and Mr Kéjorn Eddy
From Halliday Smith Primary: Ms Cherika Flemming and Mr Williams Archibald

We offer our sincerest gratitude to our featured speaker, Mrs Beliesha Mc Donald-Natta, who beautifully inspired us under the theme 'From Promise to Possibility'. Her words resonated deeply as she encouraged our scholars to nurture their promise, practice with purpose, lead with kindness, summon courage and never stop trying—no matter the obstacle—to turn their promise into possibility.

We also thank Mrs Lisa-Romayne Archibald-Pistana, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, for her profound and inspiring remarks and Hon. Marsha T. Henderson, Minister of Tourism et al, for the powerful reminder that no goal is too high and no aspiration is too great to achieve.

📚 Celebrating 16 Years of the William Marcus Natta Memorial Scholarship Fund! 🎓

Today marks a significant milestone—the 16th anniversary of the William Marcus Natta Memorial Scholarship Fund. Since its establishment on April 8, 2010, the Fund has been a powerful force in nurturing the next generation of leaders in Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Honouring the legacy of William Marcus Natta—a former army sergeant, dedicated accounts clerk, and passionate trade unionist—the Fund carries forward his commitment to hard work, community service, and the transformative power of education.

The Fund's mission is to provide “A Helping Hand Along Your Way,” supporting fifth and sixth graders at the Tucker-Clarke and Halliday Smith Primary Schools. It provides financial aid and educational resources to students who demonstrate both academic promise and strong civic-mindedness.

Over the past 16 years, the Fund's impact has been nothing short of remarkable:

· Awarded 37 scholarships to outstanding primary school students, with over EC$30,000 in scholarships and gifts distributed since 2011.
· Donated over 25,000 educational items to local primary schools.
· Inspired future innovators by gifting 3,000+ STEM toys to early childhood centers.
· Provided critical support during the COVID-19 pandemic, including non-contact thermometers for schools.
· Enhanced school environments, including a recent landscape project at Tucker-Clarke Primary.

The Fund depends on the generosity of its supporters to continue its vital work. Today, we celebrate not only the Fund’s impressive legacy but also the bright future it continues to build for the youth of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

2026 NATTA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR LOCAL PRIMARY STUDENTS

Basseterre, St. Kitts – The William Marcus Natta Memorial Scholarship Fund is proud to announce that its application window for the 2026 academic year is now officially open. The Fund is calling on eligible students from the Tucker Clarke and Halliday Smith Primary Schools to apply for the prestigious scholarship.

The Fund will award two deserving students from each of the two schools. Ideal candidates are those who demonstrate financial need, exhibit leadership qualities or a mentoring spirit and maintain active involvement in extracurricular or civic activities both at school and within their communities.

All applications must be submitted by May 1, 2026.
