The Educational Leadership major is proud to share a throwback to the International Conference 2026: “Cambodia in the Mekong Nexus: Paths to a Sustainable Future,” successfully hosted by Paragon International University on 15 May 2026 in Phnom Penh.

We are especially proud that our Program Coordinator, Mr. Shirzad Mansouri, participated in this meaningful international academic forum alongside distinguished academics, policymakers, researchers, and development practitioners to exchange perspectives on sustainable development and regional cooperation within the Mekong region.

This conference served as an inspiring platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge sharing toward a more sustainable future.

Who is a Teacher?

Carl Jung once said: "The world will ask you who you are, and if you don't know, the world will tell you."

That quote stayed with me. After over three decades in education, here is how I now answer that question:

A teacher is not someone who has "arrived." A teacher is a learner who walks alongside other learners — sharing not just what he knows, but why he believes it and how he came to believe it.

This journey shapes us into people who are:

✨ Humble enough to keep growing

✨ Curious enough to never settle

✨ Intentional in every word and lesson

✨ Empathetic to the emotional and social dimensions of learning

✨ Masters of both our subject and ourselves

Teaching is not a title. It is an identity rooted in continuous transformation.

To my fellow educators: What does your identity as a teacher mean to you today?
