Day 5 — GAIN Training of Trainers (ToT)

Day 5 of the GAIN training programme focused on assessment, group presentations, and reflection, providing participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding and apply the inclusive education approaches introduced throughout the training.

The session included group presentations on supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, where participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) presented their lecture structures and approaches for creating more accessible and inclusive learning environments.
Participants also took part in debriefing sessions and peer evaluation, using a standard evaluation form to discuss the presentations, exchange feedback, and reflect on practical ways to strengthen inclusive teaching practices.
Another key activity focused on group assignments on older people, allowing participants to explore approaches for addressing the learning needs of older people and promoting greater inclusion and accessibility within higher education.

The programme concluded with a Live Closing Session, featuring a recap, showcase of learning, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer led mainly by the participants, followed by the Closing Ceremony. The final day highlighted the importance of reflection, collaboration, and practical application in strengthening inclusive, equitable, and accessible higher education.

Day 1 — GAIN-Training of Trainers (ToT)

Day 1 of the GAIN training programme focused on “Evaluating Your Inclusion Targets”, with an emphasis on using a rubric to evaluate inclusion needs within Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

The session introduced the INSTADINE Rubric and explored key areas including institutional philosophy and mission, institutional strategy, teaching, research and student services, and leadership.

Participants also engaged in an offline group project and a participatory workshop on widening inclusivity, applying the tools and methods introduced during the session to identify institutional barriers and inclusion priorities. The activity supports GAIN’s efforts to strengthen inclusive, equitable, and accessible higher education through systematic assessment, collaboration, and practical action.

និស្សិតមានពិការភាពចូលរួមផ្សព្វផ្សាយព័ត៌មាន និងស្វាគមន៍និស្សិតឆ្នាំសិក្សាថ្មី ឆ្នាំ២០២៦-២០២៧�

និស្សិតមានពិការភាព បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្តចូលរួមយ៉ាងសកម្មក្នុងការផ្តល់ព័ត៌មាន និងណែនាំដល់ប្អូនៗបេក្ខជន អំពី ការចុះឈ្មោះចូលរៀន ការតម្រង់ទិសក្នុងការជ្រើសរើសមុខជំនាញ អាហារូបករណ៍ ព្រមទាំងណែនាំអំពី ទីតាំង និងបរិវេណនានានៅក្នុងសាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទភ្នំពេញ (RUPP)។�

សកម្មភាពនេះមានគោលបំណងចូលរួមជួយសម្រួលដល់ប្អូនៗបេក្ខជន ក្នុងការស្វែងយល់កាន់តែច្បាស់អំពីជំនាញសិក្សា ឱកាសអាហារូបករណ៍ និងបរិយាកាសសិក្សានៅសាកលវិទ្យាល័យ ព្រមទាំងត្រៀមខ្លួនសម្រាប់ការប្រឡងចូលរៀន ថ្នាក់ឆ្នាំសិក្សាមូលដ្ឋាន សម្រាប់ឆ្នាំសិក្សា ២០២៦–២០២៧ នៅសាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទភ្នំពេញ។�

ការចូលរួមរបស់និស្សិតមានពិការភាព គឺជាការរួមចំណែកដ៏មានអត្ថន័យក្នុងការលើកកម្ពស់ ការអប់រំប្រកបដោយបរិយាបន្ន (Inclusive Education) និងបង្កើតបរិយាកាសសិក្សាដែលមានភាពស្មើគ្នា សម្រាប់និស្សិតគ្រប់រូប។

On 31 July 2026, representatives from GAIN partner institutions successfully completed Day 5 – Assessment, marking the conclusion of the GAIN Capacity Building Training Programme hosted by the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC).

The day began with an online individual assessment, where participants completed a self-assessment, method-comprehension quiz, and transfer reflection to demonstrate their understanding of the six methods introduced throughout the training and identify how these approaches can be applied within their own institutions.

The programme concluded with a Live Closing Session, featuring a recap of the week's learning, participant showcases, reflections on key lessons, and commitments to applying the acquired knowledge in practice. Participants also joined the Project Result Dissemination Meeting and the Closing Ceremony, celebrating the successful completion of the training and reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthening inclusive and innovative higher education in Cambodia.
