🏆 Student Awards Program 🏆

At each annual conference, AOAC SEA holds the Student Awards Program, which is organized by of , one of the 5 working groups of the organization.

The objective of the Training of Young Scientists Working Group (ToYS WG) is to establish programs across Southeast Asia countries to develop, train, encourage, support, and recognize young scientists. In 2022, ToYS WG offered three Student Awards and one Student Travel Award to students engaged in the area of food safety and analytical science. The Call for Student Awards received 34 abstract submissions from 7 countries.

In 2023, ToYS WG received 49 Student Awards applications coming from 7 countries, growing 44% compared to last year. 12 students from 7 countries were selected for the travel support to enter the Poster Presentation Competition held at the 2023 AOAC SEA 2nd Annual Conference in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

A Poster Judge Panel, with renowned experts in food and related safety analysis coming from academia, industry, and government, carefully evaluated the student poster presenters and selected three for the Best Student Poster Award.

Congratulations again to the #3 student presenters and #12 students selected for the poster presentation competition! We hope you had a joyful experience at the conference with many learning and networking opportunities! Best wishes to your future endeavors!

បេក្ខជនទាំង១២ រូបដែលត្រូវបានប្រកាសទទួលស្គាល់ជាផ្លូវការរួមមាន កម្ពុជា 🇰🇭(១រូប), ឡាវ🇱🇦(១រូប), ភីលីពីន🇵🇭(១រូប), សិង្ហបុរី🇸🇬(១រូប), ឥណ្ឌូនេសុី🇮🇩(១រូប), រៀតណាម🇻🇳(៣រូប)និងម៉ាឡេសុី🇲🇾(៣រូប)។
