We’re proud to share that 60 of our 75 students are now employed at our partner hotels across Cambodia! Only 15 more to go as they begin their professional journeys.

សិក្ខាកាមជំនាន់ទី៣ ឆ្នាំសិក្សា២០២៤ នៃអង្គការស្លាបព្រាកម្ពុជា ចំនួន៧៥នាក់ មកពីខេត្តចំនួន១៥ បានបញ្ចប់វគ្គបណ្ដុះបណ្ដាល និងចុះកម្មសិក្សាដោយជោគជ័យ និងរៀបចំពិធីប្រគល់វិញ្ញាបនបត្រជាផ្លូវការនៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី១៩ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៤ ក្រោមអធិបតីភាព ឯកឧត្តម ប៉ាក់ សុខុម រដ្ឋលេខាធិការក្រសួងទេសចរណ៍ និង លោក លី សារី អភិបាលរង នៃគណៈអភិបាលខេត្តសៀមរាប និងមានការចូលរួមពីអាជ្ញាធរមូលដ្ឋាន ម្ចាស់ជំនួយ តំណាងអង្គការនិងសណ្ឋាគារដៃគូ អាណាព្យាបាលសិស្ស និងភ្ញៀវកិត្តិយសជាច្រើនរូប។

75 students from the third intake of the 2024 academic year at SPOONS Cambodia Organization, came from 15 provinces, successfully completed their training and internships program. In the morning of December 19, 2024, an official graduation ceremony was presided over by H.E. Pak Sokhom, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Tourism, and Mr. Ly Sary, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap. The event was attended by local authorities, donors, parents and representatives from NGOs and Hotels partner.

Today marks the last day of our students' final practical assessments! Each of them has worked tirelessly to showcase the knowledge and skills they’ve gained.

បន្ទាប់​ពី​ការ​ខិតខំ​រៀនសូត្រ​អស់​រយៈពេល​បួន​ខែ​ក្នុង​អំឡុង​ពេល​កម្មសិក្សា សិស្សានុសិស្ស​របស់​យើង​បាន​ត្រឡប់​មកវិញដើម្បី​ធ្វើបទបង្ហាញ​ពីការងារ​ចុងក្រោយ​របស់​ពួកគេ​។ ការ​ធ្វើបទបង្ហាញនេះគឺជាដំណាក់កាលដ៏ធំមួយដែលនឹងក្លាយជាផ្នែកសំខាន់នៃការវាយតម្លៃចុងក្រោយរបស់ពួកគេ។

After four months of dedicated effort during their internships, our students have returned to showcase their final projects. This presentation marks an essential step in their journey, serving as a key part of their final assessment.

Community Development

Mrs. Sophany MAO, our inspiring leader with a heart of gold and passion for community development and gathering, has presented a Bamboo Street Project to promote and raise awareness about community work and sustainable structures. SPOONS with the other team leaders from Bamboo Stage, Rokhak Women Handicraft, Felini Restaurant, and other private sectors, can’t wait to bring this exciting development of Bamboo Street to you! សិស្សានុសិស្សរបស់យើងទាំងអស់បានត្រឡប់មកមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលសិក្សាវិញនៅថ្ងៃនេះ ដើម្បីធ្វើការប្រឡងចុងក្រោយរបស់ពួកគេ ដែលជាការឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងពីសមិទ្ធផលនៃការខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងរៀនសូត្រ របស់ពួកគេកន្លងមក។ យើងសូមជូនពរឱ្យពួកគេទទួលបានជោគជ័យក្នុងការប្រលងដ៏សំខាន់នេះ!

Our students have returned to the learning center today to undertake their final examinations, marking the culmination of their hard work and dedication. We extend our best wishes to them for success in this important milestone!

កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ និង ២៨ ខែវិច្ឆិកា អង្គការស្លាបព្រាកម្ពុជាពិតជាមានកេត្តយសយ៉ាងក្រៃលែង ដែលបានសហការ ជាមួយនឹងអង្គការអន្តរជាតិខាងការងារ (ILO) ក្រោមការគាំទ្រពីគណៈកម្មការគ្រប់គ្រងគម្រោង ហូកា នៃក្រសួងទេសចរណ៍ ក្នុងការបើកវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលផ្តោតសំខាន់លើ៖ (១) ចំណេះដឹងពីទំនាក់ទំនង និងអនាម័យក្នុងចង្ក្រានបាយ (២)ចំណេះដឹងពីវប្បធម៌ និងវិធីសាស្ត្រពិតប្រាកដនៃការចម្អិនម្ហូបខេត្តហៃណាន (៣)ជំនាញរៀបចំម្ហូបបែបចិនរួមមាន៖ បាយមាន់ហៃណាន ត្រីចៀនជូអែម និង ឆាបង្គាពិសេស។

Congratulations to the 84 participants who received special skills training on Chinese cuisine from ILO-China partner in Siem Reap!

On November 27th and 28th, SPOONS Cambodia Organization is honored to partner with the International Labor International Labour Organization (ILO) under the auspices of the ក្រសួងទេសចរណ៍ Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia's Hokka Project Management Committee to open a short training course on: (1) Knowledge of Communication and Hygiene in the Kitchen (2) Knowledge of the Culture and Cooking methods of Hainan Province (3) Skills in Chinese Cuisine, including Hainanese Chicken Rice, Sweet & Sour Fried Fish, and special Stir-fried Shrimp.

Our students actively contribute to keeping Siem Reap clean by collecting rubbish around town. This effort reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility and reminds us all that maintaining a clean city is everyone's responsibility.

🌟 Meet Rith, Restaurant Manager of SPOONS 🌟

Rith Teav’s journey with SPOONS Cambodia Organization began in 2015 when she joined as a student in the Hospitality Training Program. Coming from a village with limited opportunities, she seized this chance to change her life.

Through SPOONS, Teav participated in international training and rotated through various roles, gaining invaluable skills and confidence. Her dedication led to her appointment as Restaurant Manager, a role she never imagined when she started.

Teav's greatest passion, however, is giving back. Now a trainer, she is committed to sharing his knowledge with the next generation of hospitality leaders. Thanks to the PROF programs of the ASSET-H&C network, Teav has grown pedagogical professional skills, building global connections and strengthening her communication skills, further empowering her mission to inspire others.
