😀😀From the 19th to the 21st of August, our hygiene and sanitation team attended a training in Siem Reap by CAWST, Center for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology.
💪💪This will allow our team to upgrade hygiene standards in Phnom Kulen schools and villages, within our ongoing project.

🌳🌳After 6 years of operation, it was about time to renovate our tree nurseries in Ta Penh, Sangke Lak and particularly Anlong Thom primary schools, sponsored by eau Kulen. The more recent one in P***l, funded by HUMY, also got improved and extended.

វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលស្តីពី “ការគ្រប់គ្រងថ្នាលបណ្តុះកូនឈើ”

អង្គការមូលនិធិបុរាណវិទ្យា និងអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ កម្មវិធីភ្នំគូលែន (ADF) បានសហការជាមួយអង្គការអាគ្រីស៊ុតអន្តរជាតិកម្ពុជា (Agrisud International Cambodia) រៀបចំបើកវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលស្តីពី “ការគ្រប់គ្រងថ្នាលបណ្តុះកូនឈើ”។ វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនេះបានប្រព្រឹត្តទៅអស់រយៈពេល ០២ថ្ងៃ ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី១៦ ដល់ថ្ងៃទី១៧ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤ នៅសាលាបឋមសិក្សាសង្កែឡាក់ ឃុំខ្នងភ្នំ ស្រុកស្វាយលើ ឧទ្យានជាតិព្រះជ័យវរ្ម័ន-នរោត្តម «ភ្នំគូលែន»។

✋Last Thursday was the last handicraft training by Ta Tum from Sangke Lak village at the Ta Penh primary school (grade 5 and 6), in Phnom Kulen National Park. 👍A way to transmit his knowledge to younger generation and develop alternative livelihoods to the elderly population. Next step, training to other basket wavers and better marketing of the សិប្បកម្មគូលែន-Kulen Crafts products!

☹️Deforestation, climate change and bad management of the water system in Khlah Khmum village in Phnom Kulen National Park, the primary school is facing water shortages this year.

😍😍Sangke Lak school water system part 2/2:
From the 3rd week of May until this week, ADF finalised the renovation of the Sangke Lak primary school water system, building a filtering reservoir at the source and connecting the system to the reservoirs in the school.
☝️☝️The renovated 1800-meter-long system allows cooking breakfast, the implementation of ADF’s water and sanitation program, the irrigation of the tree nursery (by ADF) and vegetable garden (ADF-Agrisud International Cambodia), as well as supplying water to several families.

😍😍Sangke Lak school water system part 1:
From the 5th to 11th of May, ADF replaced the PVC by HDPE pipes from the source to the school on a 1800-meter-long new system.
💪💪In collaboration with local authorities, teachers, students and villagers, more than 80 persons joined to dig the trench and install the pipes. Requested by teachers to address the water shortage, it allows cooking breakfast, the implementation of ADF’s water and sanitation program, the irrigation of the tree nursery (by ADF) and vegetable garden (ADF-Agrisud International Cambodia), as well as supplying water to several families. 1 more step: reservoir construction, connection and commissioning.
