Angkor University organized its 6th University Day from May 4 to May 18, 2026. The event aimed to provide career and major orientation for higher education to students from both public and private high schools across Siem Reap, Banteay Meanchey, and Kampong Thom provinces. It attracted a total of over 8,500 participants from 37 high schools. During this University Day, we also promoted and shared information regarding the "Boosting Excellence in Second-Tier Higher Education Institutes (BEST)" project—under the European Union's ERASMUS+ programme—to help students gain a deeper understanding of pursuing higher education in the European countries.

On 16 January 2026, Angkor University (AU) organized the Seminar on Boosting Excellence of Second-Tier Higher Education Institutions (BEST) project with approximately 350 participants including lecturers, staff, and students. The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+Program of European Union and implemented in partnership with seven institutions from Europe and Southeast Asia: Tor Vergata University (Italy), University of Piraeus (Greece), IHF (Belgium), Ho Chi Minh University of Banking (Vietnam), University of Finance and Business Administration (Vietnam), Angkor University (Cambodia), and Cambodia-Asia Polytechnic Institute (Cambodia). The Seminar Focus on:

WG3. Faculty engagement and research collaboration

From 1 to 15 June 2026, the Cambodia-Asia Polytechnic Institute conducted a higher education orientation campaign for more than 1,000 high school students across various secondary schools in Ratanakiri Province.

During the campaign, the Institute's management team shared information about the “Boosting Excellence in Second-Tier Higher Education Institutes (BEST)” Project under the European Union’s ERASMUS+ Programme. Students were introduced to the project's objectives, key activities, and expected outcomes, with the aim of enhancing their awareness of higher education opportunities and encouraging them to pursue further studies at the tertiary level.

🎓Trong định hướng phát triển đến năm 2030, tầm nhìn 2045, HUB xác định quốc tế hóa là một trong những chiến lược trọng tâm nhằm nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo, nghiên cứu khoa học và quản trị đại học theo chuẩn quốc tế.

📌Với vai trò là Ban Quản lý Truyền thông Dự án BEST, chúng tôi tự hào khi BEST đã và đang trở thành một trong những dự án có đóng góp thiết thực, trực tiếp hỗ trợ HUB thúc đẩy tiến trình hội nhập và phát triển bền vững.

Thông qua các hoạt động hợp tác quốc tế, đào tạo, chuyển giao tri thức và kết nối học thuật, dự án BEST đã góp phần mang lại nhiều giá trị thực tiễn cho HUB:
🔹 Thúc đẩy đổi mới quản trị đại học: BEST hỗ trợ HUB tiếp cận các mô hình quản trị hiện đại, thúc đẩy chuyển đổi số, phát triển định hướng ESG và xây dựng nền tảng đại học thông minh theo xu thế quốc tế.
🔹 Đồng hành cùng đổi mới đào tạo: Dự án góp phần hỗ trợ nhà trường phát triển chương trình đào tạo theo hướng liên ngành, tăng cường yếu tố quốc tế và ứng dụng công nghệ trong giảng dạy – học tập.
🔹 Tăng cường năng lực nghiên cứu và kết nối học thuật: BEST tạo điều kiện thúc đẩy hợp tác nghiên cứu, trao đổi học thuật và liên kết đào tạo xuyên biên giới, góp phần nâng cao năng lực nghiên cứu khoa học và mở rộng mạng lưới hợp tác quốc tế của HUB.
🔹 Phát triển nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao: Thông qua các chương trình tập huấn, trao đổi và hợp tác chuyên môn, BEST đã hỗ trợ nâng cao năng lực cho giảng viên, cán bộ quản lý và sinh viên theo tiêu chuẩn quốc tế.

📌Trong bối cảnh giáo dục đại học toàn cầu ngày càng đề cao tính kết nối, đổi mới và hội nhập quốc tế, việc phát triển giáo dục xuyên quốc gia (Transnational Education – TNE) không chỉ là xu hướng mà còn trở thành yêu cầu chiến lược đối với các cơ sở giáo dục đại học tại Việt Nam và trên thế giới.

️🎉 Ngày 24/4/2026, Trường Đại học Ngân hàng TP.HCM (HUB) đã tham dự và trình bày tại webinar "Định vị Giáo dục xuyên quốc gia (TNE) trong chiến lược giáo dục đại học" do Hội đồng Anh chủ trì. Tại sự kiện, đại diện HUB (TS. Lương Thị Thu Thủy) nhấn mạnh rằng, việc tích cực tham gia vào các dự án quốc tế lớn – đặc biệt là dự án BEST – chính là đòn bẩy chiến lược giúp HUB nâng cao năng lực thực thi, mở rộng quan hệ đối tác và thúc đẩy mạnh mẽ tiến trình quốc tế hóa giáo dục của Nhà trường.

📌 In the context of an increasingly interconnected global higher education landscape, the advancement of Transnational Education (TNE) has emerged not only as a prevailing trend but also as a strategic imperative for higher education institutions in Vietnam and worldwide. In this regard, the BEST Project plays a significant role in fostering internationalization, strengthening academic collaboration, and promoting sustainable development in higher education.

️🎉 On April 24, 2026, HUB attended and presented at the British Council's webinar on "Positioning Transnational Education (TNE) in Higher Education Strategy." During the event, HUB's representative (Dr. Luong Thi Thu Thuy) emphasized that actively participating in major international projects – especially the BEST project – serves as a strategic catalyst that enhances HUB's capacity, expands institutional partnerships, and drives the university's educational internationalization forward.

🔎 As an international initiative dedicated to enhancing institutional capacity and advancing the internationalization of higher education, the BEST Project has been implemented to strengthen cooperation between Vietnamese universities and global partners, while establishing a foundation for sustainable, innovative, and globally integrated educational models.

🌐 More than an international cooperation initiative, BEST serves as an academic platform that:
• Facilitates the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and innovative educational practices among Vietnamese and international higher education institutions
• Supports universities in strengthening institutional governance, curriculum development, and internationalization strategies
• Enhances access to global academic standards and emerging trends in contemporary higher education

Angkor University will reach semi-international standards through international cooperation

Angkor University continues to expand its international collaborations by partnering with leading European institutions, including the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium. This cooperation aims to enhance academic quality, human resource development, and global opportunities for Cambodian students.

Key highlights of the collaboration include:
