Our Parent–Teacher Meeting was conducted successfully.
This week, ISSR Primary School held a Parent–Teacher Meeting aimed at updating parents on students’ academic progress. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss students’ achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement, as well as to explore how parents can support their children to enhance learning quality and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the Cambridge International Primary Curriculum.
✅ Utilise an e-management system to track student progress and communicate with parents.
✅ Participate in and lead two extracurricular activities per week.
✅ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
✅ A minimum of two years’ teaching experience at Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 is required.

✅ Proficiency in using an e-management system.
✅ Strong communication and organisational skills.

Our Year 1B students had a wonderful time on their field trip to Hari Bakery!

As part of our learning linked to the story The Small Bun, the children explored how buns are made from start to finish. They looked at the ingredients, watched the dough being prepared, and even had the chance to roll their own buns before seeing them go into the oven.

It was a fun and hands-on experience that helped bring our story to life. The students were engaged, curious, and very excited to see (and smell!) the baking process.

A big thank you to Hari Bakery for welcoming us and making this learning experience so special!

On Monday 6th April, the Year 1A class went on a delightful field trip to Hari Bakery. The children had the chance to explore the bakery and take part in hands-on activities, such as shaping dough and learning how bread is made. This experience was closely linked to their Literacy lessons, as they are currently reading the story The Small Bun. The trip helped bring the book to life, allowing the students to connect the story with real-world experiences while practicing descriptive language and storytelling inspired by their visit.
