[Until We Meet Again, Our NIBI Family 🤍✈️]

Today, we said goodbye to Teacher Sunjin, Teacher Rokock, and their family as they begin their sabbatical journey.

It is not easy to say goodbye to those who have walked with us, laughed with us, prayed with us, and shared life together at NIBI.
Our hearts are filled with gratitude, but also with sadness because we will miss them.

Even though we will not be together at NIBI for a while,
we believe that in Christ we are still connected as one family.
Distance cannot separate the hearts that God has joined together.

As they begin this new season of rest and study,
we pray that God’s grace, wisdom, and peace will be with them every step of the way.

Thank you for loving, serving, and growing with us.
We look forward to the day when God brings us together again.

This week, we said goodbye to the A2N teachers who have faithfully shared the Gospel in Cambodia over the past year.

Although we did not spend a great amount of time together,
their lives, passion, and servant hearts left a deep impact on our community.
Through their love and faithfulness, we were reminded of God’s love for us.

Now it is time for them to return to the places God has called them.
While goodbyes are never easy,
we send them with joy, blessing, and prayer, trusting that God will continue to lead their next steps.

We are deeply thankful for all they have given,
and we hope this is not the end of our story together.
Until we meet again, may God’s grace go with you.

[Seeing God’s Mission in Many Places 🌱🌈🤍]

Today, we visited Mustard Elementary School and Kontrak Rainbow Kindergarten, two of the ministries served by NIBCM in Siem Reap.

At Mustard Elementary School, we had the opportunity to learn how God is working through the school and hear about the ministry taking place there.
At Kontrak Rainbow Kindergarten, we spent time with the children through a skit drama, craft activities, and songs with motions, just as we did last week.

Over these two weeks, we have been blessed to visit several different ministry sites.
Each place was unique, but all of them reminded us of the same truth—God is at work in many different ways, through many different people.

These visits have been a time of joy, learning, and gratitude.
We are thankful for the opportunity to witness God’s mission with our own eyes.

[Seeing God’s Mission Up Close 🌈👑🤍]

Today, we had the opportunity to visit DreamVille Rainbow Kindergarten and Shalom Cambodia Kindergarten, two ministries served by NIBCM in Siem Reap.

During our visit, we shared the story of Jesus through a drama performance and spent time making crowns together with the children, remembering Jesus as our King.

Our time with the children was short, but it was filled with joy, laughter, and precious moments.
As we watched the children listen, learn, and create, we were reminded that God’s mission is moving forward in many different ways and places.

We are thankful for the chance to witness what God is doing and to spend time with these wonderful children.

[Seeing God’s Guidance Through One Person’s Story 🎤🤍]

Today at NIBI,
we had a special time listening to the testimony of Nita,
a NIBI staff member and worship leader at NIBC Church.

As a young girl, she simply loved singing.
But through her story,
we could see how God slowly and faithfully led her step by step.
She also shared about her one year of training in the Philippines,
and how she learned to trust God
even in difficult and uncertain situations.

While listening to one person’s story,
we were reminded that God is also leading each of our lives.

Even today,
God is shaping every one of us in a special way
and faithfully guiding us on our journey.

[Setting Our Direction Again Through the Word 📖✨]

At the end of our second semester orientation,
we gathered together to read the Bible.

Continuing from last semester,
we read from 2 Chronicles.
As we followed the choices of the kings and their results,
we began to reflect on our own lives.

What choices are we making?
Which direction are we walking?
Before God’s Word,
we found ourselves asking these questions again.

At the beginning of this new semester,
we make a new decision—
to trust God until the end
and walk in His way.

Starting with the Word,
and finding our direction in the Word—
this is NIBI.

[From Small Shapes to One Beautiful Story 🎨✨]

Together with DreamVille,
we had a special time creating flags
for the future Dream Park.

At first, the shapes seemed simple and without meaning.
But as they came together and connected,
they slowly formed patterns—
and those patterns became one larger work of art.
Watching this process reminded us of our own community.

Each of us is different in color and shape,
but together,
we create something more beautiful as one.

We were also reminded of something important:
there is no one “right answer” in art.
In the same way,
God has created each of us in a unique and special way.

We are thankful to DreamVille Siem Reap
for giving us this meaningful opportunity.

[Caring for Our Bodies, Growing Our Spirit 🏃‍♂️🌙]
During the quiet days of the break, our daily life continues.
In the evening, the NIBI Running Crew began under the leadership of Teacher Kyung.

As we run together at the end of the day, we learn to move in rhythm and share the same breath.
When our breathing gets heavy and our steps feel slow, we remember this:
our bodies are a gift from God, and caring for them is also part of caring for our spiritual life.

So today’s run is more than exercise.
It is a time to bring our lives back to God and set our hearts in the right place.

We hope this will not stop during the break, but continue into the semester and become part of our daily rhythm.
Running together, growing together— this is NIBI.

[Until We Meet Again 🤍✈️]

Once again, Teacher Douglas came to NIBI this year
and shared his life, his teaching, and his heart with us.
And now, it is time for him to return to New Zealand.

In the time we shared,
his love, passion, and gentle humor
brought warmth and life to our community.
He did not only teach us with words,
but also through the way he lived among us.

Though he has left,
what he gave us remains in our hearts.

We pray for his life and ministry in New Zealand,
and for God’s protection and good health over him.
And we hold on to this hope—
that we will meet again next year
and share even more of God’s grace together.

This is not just a goodbye.
It is a promise to meet again.
