[Setting Our Direction Again Through the Word 📖✨]
At the end of our second semester orientation,
we gathered together to read the Bible.
Continuing from last semester,
we read from 2 Chronicles.
As we followed the choices of the kings and their results,
we began to reflect on our own lives.
What choices are we making?
Which direction are we walking?
Before God’s Word,
we found ourselves asking these questions again.
At the beginning of this new semester,
we make a new decision—
to trust God until the end
and walk in His way.
Starting with the Word,
and finding our direction in the Word—
this is NIBI.

[From Small Shapes to One Beautiful Story 🎨✨]
Together with DreamVille,
we had a special time creating flags
for the future Dream Park.
At first, the shapes seemed simple and without meaning.
But as they came together and connected,
they slowly formed patterns—
and those patterns became one larger work of art.
Watching this process reminded us of our own community.
Each of us is different in color and shape,
but together,
we create something more beautiful as one.
We were also reminded of something important:
there is no one “right answer” in art.
In the same way,
God has created each of us in a unique and special way.
We are thankful to DreamVille Siem Reap
for giving us this meaningful opportunity.
A community of God’s masterpieces—
this is NIBI.

[Until We Meet Again 🤍✈️]
Once again, Teacher Douglas came to NIBI this year
and shared his life, his teaching, and his heart with us.
And now, it is time for him to return to New Zealand.
In the time we shared,
his love, passion, and gentle humor
brought warmth and life to our community.
He did not only teach us with words,
but also through the way he lived among us.
Though he has left,
what he gave us remains in our hearts.
We pray for his life and ministry in New Zealand,
and for God’s protection and good health over him.
And we hold on to this hope—
that we will meet again next year
and share even more of God’s grace together.
This is not just a goodbye.
It is a promise to meet again.

[Looking Back, We See That We Have Grown 🤍✨]
The first semester began with many mixed feelings in our hearts. And now, somehow, that time has already passed.
The days went by quickly. There were moments we struggled, and moments we slowed down. But as we look back, we can see that we have grown.
Each person walked at a different pace, and each story was different. But we believe that every moment was part of God’s plan.
We are still not perfect.
There is still much to change and to grow. That is why we will not stop. Even if we move slowly, we will take another step forward.
Over this whole journey, we give all glory and thanks to God.
This is not the end—
it is the beginning of something new for NIBI.

[Ending Our Journey with the Word 📖✨]
After running through 12 busy weeks, we are ending our first semester by reading God’s Word together.
As we read 2 Samuel, Kings, and 1 Chronicles, we see the stories of kings and God’s work.
Through these stories, we are thinking again about how we should live our lives.
As we look back on the past weeks and prepare for what is ahead, we come before God’s Word once more and place our direction in His hands.
At the end of a fast journey, we choose to slow down
and remain in His Word.
This is how we follow God— together, step by step.

[Standing Again Before the Word, Mid-Semester Bible Reading 📖🤍]
This year, we made a small change.
Instead of reading the Bible together only at the end of the semester,
we decided to do it in the middle of the semester
and during orientation as well.
As we reached the halfway point of the first semester,
we sat together and read from the Book of Numbers.
It was not an easy book to read.
The repeated rebellion of Israel
felt uncomfortably close to our own lives.
As we read their story,
we began to ask ourselves about our own faith.
And through Moses—
who stood between God and His people—
we reflected on what true leadership looks like.
God’s Word comforts us,
but it also honestly shows us our hearts.
Under its light,
we are being shaped again.
We pray to walk through the second half of the semester with the Word,
and we already look forward to reading it together again at the end.
We are a community choosing to remain in God’s Word.
And step by step, we are growing.

[Six Weeks of the Journey, Led by God 🤍🌿]
We have now reached week six —
halfway through the first semester.
Time has passed quickly,
but one thing is clear:
God has been leading us step by step.
We are still weak and still learning,
yet we pray that we will continue to grow
and become more united as one community.
We are also deeply thankful to Believers Church
for preparing and gifting NIBI’s team uniforms.
Your love and support strengthen our community.
As we experience God’s guidance,
we keep walking forward together.

[Connected, United, and Being Built Together 🤍🧩🏠]
For the past two weeks,
the main theme in the NIBI community has been
connection, unity, and being built together.
Through lectures, morning devotion,
and many shared activities,
God has been teaching us one clear truth:
in Jesus, our lives are slowly shaped and aligned,
and together we are being built
into a beautiful home where God dwells.
We desire to be a community
deeply connected to the Lord
and closely connected to one another.
As we stay connected,
we can stand stronger together.
United in connection,
built together in love—
this is the journey we walk as NIBI.
