Personally, I have had some experiences with my mother making and selling these noodles in the village, especially during village festivals at night.
Making Cambodian noodles requires time to develop better skills. We need to measure and assess the quality of the rice, control the water boiling, adjust the fire, and even consider the quality of the rice flour. Understanding these factors will help us make high-quality noodles, as some rice noodles can be of raw quality if not prepared properly.

The APSARA Authority's Department of Preservation and Archeology recently discovered over 100 sandstone Buddha statues at Ta Prohm during an excavation. The statues included various depictions, such as the Buddha with dragon eyes, Kesvara, the Buddha with the head of a dragon, the Buddha with wisdom of Barmita, as well as fragments of thrones and limbs.
Angkor Wat, the French naturalist Henri Mouhot, visited the site in the mid-19th century and helped to popularize it in Europe. However, some have argued that Western interest in Angkor Wat has often been exploitative and colonialist in nature.
Khmer heritage refers to the cultural heritage of the Khmer people, which is centered in Cambodia but also includes parts of Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos. It is a rich and diverse heritage that includes ancient temples, traditional music and dance, crafts, cuisine, and more. The Khmer Empire, which ruled much of Southeast Asia from the 9th to the 15th century, was a major influence on the region's culture and architecture. Today, efforts are being made to preserve and promote Khmer heritage, both within Cambodia and around the world, through initiatives such as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, museums, and cultural festivals.
