☀️Morning SURPRISE☀️
The mask is an object with which the human face is covered to transform its natural appearance.
The school photo workshop takes place outside of class hours.
The students leave little by little.
The teachers too.
The school empties and becomes silent.
We Took pictures of our bodies.
Each part was printed, reconstructed, then masked.
We hung them in different places in the school.
Discreetly.
In secret.
To create a surprise.
Our photographic scenes were discovered in the early morning.
When the school came back to life...

Take pictures of drops is one of the most difficult photographic techniques. Stop moving liquid. You have to be quick, patient and find the right moment between the drop forming and the photo.
When the image appears, it’s an incredible SURPRISE every time...🤩

*I remember last summer...
This project allowed everyone to look behind themselves, to re-observe their past.
What happened before the start of the school year?
Search your memory for a memory.
Remember a specific moment, accompanied by its small details in order to anonymously compose a drawing and a piece of writing.
Each window that opens is a search in one's memory, a dig into one's own history, the sharing of a small slice of life.

But sometimes they change, sometimes they disappear, sometimes they come back.
Each person has their own.
We shared and discussed around all our fears in order to better understand them. We used different artistic techniques to analyze them but above all to overcome them.

*The Stopmotion is a cinematographic technique whereby the camera is repeatedly stopped and started, to give animated figures or objects the impression of movement. An animation movie includes between 8 and 24 pictures per second.
